I went on Kondaa yesterday (best coaster I've ever ridden, and I have 72 credits). So here is my review of the non-inverting cobra roll: It's definitely a very fun element. It really feels like you are about to go through an inversion, yet you never fully go upside down (you get very close to it though). To me, it's actually one of the less intense moments of the coaster that adds more diversity to this air-time filled attraction.
@timk9872 жыл бұрын
Funny how a cobra roll gets it name from taking the shape of a striking cobra, but a non-inverting cobra roll looks more like a dog tongue than even the dog tongue double inversion does. As you say semantics are fun!

First off: awesome video as always! I've ridden Kondaa. It's cool in the back and fun, but it didn't strike me as the world class coaster it was hyped to be. I kinda didn't notice the non-inverting Cobraroll. Nothing to write home about. Also the first drop is great but can't hold up to Expidition geForce which has a similar drop. The bunny hops in the end are fun but also nothing too great. I was a bit disappointed. Untamed on the other hand is an absolute beast :-D

I would say the non-inverting cobra roll is actually one of the least convincing parts of Kondaa's layout. It's not as intense as the rest of the ride and certainly fun, but I would've 100% preferred something like a zero G stall or another really great actual inversion.
