Omg Shawn and Charlotte. I’m completely overwhelmed by what I’ve experienced. I just had my first ever visit to Europa park and I’m left speechless. I teared up when I went through voltron and also on euro mir. I’m just blown away by the experience of it. I want to thank you for your vlogs you do because it inspired me to take it upon myself and go to my first ever abroad visit to a theme park. Without your vlogs I don’t think I would have even considered it, keep doing what you do guys. You’re both an inspiration ❤

You were extremely lucky with the weather, I was there in March and due to strong winds almost everything was closed except the Hakugei, which was fantastic but cost me 1000 yen each ride for the fast pass (as it was the only major coaster open, queue was 2-3h all day). I could ride both Wild Mouse, Looping Star, Crockscrew and the kiddy but that's about it. Fortunately the next day was at Universal and I could ride everything from 7h40 to 22h non stop! Advise, go there very very early, plan to be in the entrance queue not later than 7am. Enjoy your amazing trip!

On the website, there are two areas that list closed attractions. One has a calendar with daily closings, but above it is a list of attractions that are closed "long term" and the shuttle loop has been on there for awhile, and is listed as "3+ month closure". I know because we're on our way there in a few weeks and I'm hoping it changes by then but I'm not that confident it will (ever) reopen due to the lack of parts.

Theme parks are usually a school or work related trip done yearly. Japanese like to buy local treats and bring them back to the office or school and share them with everyone. It’s sort of a give and you get something back next trip. Airlines haven’t got the memo on that practice yet as food is restricted still.

Fun Fact: the Looping Star at 23:44, a Schwartzkopf, appears to be the closest train and track design to the original Roller Coaster Tycoon "Steel Roller Coaster", which is INCORRECTLY available before the "Steel Corkscrew Roller Coaster" ( 25:53 ), unmistakably an Arrow MK-1200 track and train design in both game and real life. RCT got the chronological order wrong! The Corkscrew was the first modern (safe) coaster inversion type, in 1975. The teardrop vertical loop came in 1976! And the Schwartzkopf track design became common in the late 1970s. So Steel Corkscrew should have been available to gamers first 😆

Other than Flying Ninjago and a few reskins of staple attractions, the Japan Legoland doesn't have much going for it as a park for non-natives to prioritize (they do have both a Dragon and Dragon's Apprentice). It is kind of like an old trolley park in the states (and Legoland Korea) where its right next to a rail terminus (although it is a heavy rail line that connects to the central station-originally just a freight spur, but the need decreased so passenger service was added long before the park was in the works)

@@user-xs8sg1ju3gvery few jobs require anything this intense. They are up from dawn to dusk on their feet all day, and that’s just the parks, not the packing, travel, or the highly time consuming video, audio and editing work required to get these videos out practically every day. And that’s just their main channel! On top of that they have to constantly seem to be having a great time, which is some serious emotional labor. Charlotte’s smile alone should be getting hazard pay… it’s practically welded into place. I also doubt that they are making that much money if you break it down as an hourly wage. My point was that I don’t understand how they can do this so consistently without burning out, especially since they seem to do absolutely everything themselves (they may hire an editor but I doubt it.) I know it’s a job. That was my point.
