Most people crying are 11 old kids that know shit about anthrax or metal. This was a great era for anthrax, it helped them navigate a tough era for metal bands. They came out stronger and with great music left by John Bush.
@Danfrombackhome8 жыл бұрын
Joe Nicholson i personally feel that bush had more of a fitting style for anthrax tbh. He had that gruff east coast feel in his voice. Wasnt he from philly? Idk while belladonna is a legend i always liked bush better. Their album of all the old songs redone with bush fn rules

0:35 and on thru the chorus, looking back at it now in 2020, this sound was sooooo prominent with metal and rock bands around then. At the time this was modern and fresh, but sounds really dated today. But it brings me back to that era, we were just getting out of the lows of grunge and metal was trying to find its identity again. That sound was my childhood.

I was adamant at first when I heard John Bush was the new singer ,I thought he was great with Armored Saint but .....when I heard the first LP with him I was blown away and each album after they were jelling even better.I think even their writing style changed as they progressed with him but was totally complimentary and sounded great.Now they have gone back to the style they had with Joey but with remnants of John still there in their style.

James Peterson dear, You r so young man that u wasn't born when i heard anthrax and real heavy and thrash metal like sepultura or pantera, you have maybe didn't heard the threat is real album or this (W.C.F.U.A) album's "Nobody Knows" Real Thrash metal is Anthrax and Slayer (take a look at Big4). Maybe you think metal is just death metal or black metal! And The rhythm and riffs justify is a music death metal, thrash metal, heavy metal or Alternatim metal.
