Hello There, thanks for covering this, it's greatly appreciated it will be sad because there will be some iconic landmarks lost such as the Banyan Tree, fountains and the Temple of Mayhem but lots of positives as well, an exciting future ahead for Chessington. Kind regards Peter :)

I think this is an exciting project and I hope that planning permission gets approved for it. No inversions for the coaster I see? But then does it really need to go upside down?

I am little sad of the loss of Wild Asia its one of the better themed areas of the park with a great atmosphere and kinetic energy with all the flat rides which are fun. But happy Minecraft is coming in its own land who knows this could be like Super Nintendo World

@@joecandish3923 same I am going to miss wild Asia however I believe that all of the buildings in the area are quite old and dated so need work done. I do wish the went for an original theme but I do understand that having IP's should hopefully bring attendance to the park

Great video! I suspect this'll be much more than £20m ... the press release states a joint £85m investment for the UK and US attraction and the US attraction is suspected to only be a midway. Plus, this investment is said to be even bigger than the waterpark, and that'll be £38m!

It's a lot of investment, the plans do say £20, however I won'der how much Microsoft are putting in, and if thats included

I hope the coaster is an intimin multi dimensional coaster which can run hopefully more than 2 trains hopefully it can run 5 trains

I think Monkey Swinger will be relocated within Chessington. It wouldn’t surprise me if it reopens next year on the space behind Croc Drop. I think Tuck Tuck Turmoil and The Jungle Bus will be stored. Upon the opening of Project Play I think Jungle Bus will reopen in the area. I think Tuck Tuck Turmoil will be sold or relocated to Alton Towers.

Do you agree that Monkey Swinger will likely be relocated to the former Flying Jumbo’s site behind Croc Drop,meanwhile Jungle Bus will be stored then relocated to Project Play? I think Tuck Tuck Turmoil will be transferred to Alton Towers and rethemed to fit into X-Sector do you think this is probable.

I personally would prefer them to relocate the dogems somewhere else in the park as it provides the much needed capacity that the park needs

Not enough airgates / station length for one of those almost guaranteed the same ride model as uncharted at PA.

Chessington world of IP's! Saddened to hear about the theme and it's surprising they are focusing on Wild Asia which is well themed as there's lots of other areas that are looking tired and could do with investment in my opinion.

I'm surprised they are keeping Kobra as it is getting quite unreliable especially when it starts having a dance in the middle 😂

Yeah I would love to know what will happen to the other 3 rides eventually. I hope to see them get relocated or moved to another park
