Nice video Micke, as always! I live in Kuwait, and having travelled several times through KSA by car, they are most likely telecom towers 07:35. In the future, if you do fly over Rub' al Khali (i.e. The Empty Quarter) at night, and get to see a laser beam, do not freak out, these are laser beacons used to aid lost people in the desert to a safe haven. BTW, I know you may think the weather is HOT! 16:35 Wait till you experience Mid-July & August 🤣🤣

Hello my friend Micke, greetings from Argentina. First of all i´d like to congrat you for your fourth stripe on your shoulder! Well deserved. An second, I´m so glad for you, your channel is growing well and fast (no surprise there), ha ha. Waiting for some more content... maybe another "across the pond" with Martin? Cheers from NE Patagonia, Argentina. Fly safe; tail winds and smooth landings I wish to you.

A bad landing us better than a "controlled crash" as my former Ground School Instructor used to say. You either land with a 100 percent success rate or you break up the plane when hitting the ground. So in this class you either earn 100 percent correct or you fail. There is no "in between" grade that you can earn. So pay attention and learn well. These comments still echo in my thoughts, every time I have flown a plane or listen to some Pilot make a comment about their landing skills. You landed the plane intact and that is all that matters! Thanks for showing us the splendors of another part of the world.

Great video! This whole OBS trick makes me mad. Diamond is the only NXi implementation that doesn’t have visual approaches. Cirrus and Cessna have had that since 2017.
@diamondda50rg Жыл бұрын
afaik you can select the visual approach when setting up/selecting the approaches in the nxi procedures menu. Some explaining here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYuteYmPlrCcpac
@VoandopelosStates Жыл бұрын
@@diamondda50rg Diamond skipped their home work and certified NXi without a LOT of features that all other manufacturers have. They've been promising everything that's missing on phase 3, but that's delayed for several years, which is a shame. The DA50 has that already, because it's newer.

Greetings form Portugal Captain Micke! Just a quick question... With that long runway in Hurghada wouldn't it be safer to retract the landing gear a little bit later maybe 5 or 10 seconds after , just in case you had an engine failure immediately after takeoff? KUDOS! ;)
@RoBert-ix6ev Жыл бұрын
It was a joke,referring to his flights with retractable landing gear aircrafts.

Is there a reason why private pilots seem to need to wear a pilot's uniform when they land in Egypt? I already saw that with Pilot Bambi and asked myself whether there's a specific reason for that.
@amaslam111 Жыл бұрын
It's an expectation, you need to.look like a pilot and that means the clothes too. General aviation is not as common in those parts of the world so if you don't 'look the part,' you're going to get questions and possibly some lengthy delays.
