This movie reminds me of a day after 911, I was a SGT in the US Army on leave (Vacation) in Florida when I was approached by someone due to my accent and asked why we hate this country, I simply walked away the person even got physical to the point I had to call my chain of command where I was told to call police and not to involve in anything physical with the person, that was inside a city building, everybody in line was looking at me when the guy called me Moslim terrorist blah blah....I had to let the security know & the person was forcefully removed but waited for me outside, security had to call police and I had to finally show the idiot my military common access card, the police said they will file press him for harassments but I had no time so I went back to my base in NC. This happens not only in the civilian world but even in the military ranks, it's sad but wherever humans live there is a racist and hater.

The FBI can be a real pain in the backside. I too was questioned on some charges of credit card debt, but as far as I know, I paid all my debts before I relocated from the U.S., but there was one company I couldn't track down to repay my debt, so even today, after nearly 20 years, I still supposedly owe themmoney. About the only benefit I get in India for being an American citizen is having to pay higher costs for tourist vacations, hospital bills, and real estate, and even lawyers' fees, coz people think I'm rich, though I'm not. What is terrifying is the way American officials who should be trusted detained, threatened, terriorized and tortured a pregnant woman. Essentially tried and convicted her and besmirched her name. Sad that she then let that break up her marriage to someone decent and hardworking and well educated.

@H G S those government agents let their fears and hatred override their own humanity and lost control. We have seen videos before on how torture of prisoners turns into us vs them and they dehumanize the object (other beings) so they can unlease pent up misplaced rage. The thing about rage in a group setting with no boundaries is it brings out the worst in the best of us. Is likely why many military come home with PTSD after being compelled to override what their higher spiritual intelligence tells them not to...but a drill sargent yelling at them overrides their humanity as does fear in an unknown and dangerous setting. Hope and pray I never get placed in any situation to deal with these issues. God keep us safely under your wing.

There is no past life. Rather be concerned about how to make it to heaven. It’s through a relationship with Jesus. He died to save you from your sins. If you’ll put your faith in him, ask him to forgive all your sins and save you, you can one day go to heaven. You also need to then get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins

So sad and humiliating for them, it could of been avoid if the agents had done their jobs right... there is nothing in the world that I could say to make it better except that I empatize with them, Thank you for this movie.

these "attacks" were well planned in advanced and the CIA had prior knowledge, so did the insurance industry and many investors that bought put-options and made millions$! I worked for the reinsurance company that took a large hit and I consider the event as the largest ever insurance fraud.

Inverted commas on the word attack? Two planes attacked the twin towers. Regarding the insurance angle, very possible. CIA and FBI awareness prior to the event, very possible. Insurance companies, very possible.

What a brave and strong lady , with all the tension and maltreatment , she never lost hope and faith . Sometime marriage and love relationship put us in danger with and the law and people her married to Mohamed took everything any from her.

I feel so angry for her. The FBI and airport staff were atrocious. So disgusting and the fact that she was pregnant. Not to mention all that she went through just because of her surname.

Perhaps you need to find out more about just how brutal terrorist are. They'll use anyone, they don't have to be willing. So you can't be too careful. Just about to watch the film because of your comment.

At least she wasn't water boarded. Remember - all's fair in love and war, and the rules do change when the countries security is at stake. (presently excepted)

And how do I understand her! I was interrogated by the Rainbow Bridge border with Canada. For absolutely NOTHING!!! From midnight till 9am 12 FBI and 6 CIA agents tortured me and my friend. No water, no toilet… And more horrible, just unbelievably terrible way we’ve been treated ! That was the first time when I realised that there no real “law” exists. There’re people who are above the law; and people below the law. Period! This is the true story of my own experience… Later I found out that we’ve been lucky compare to others. Because two weeks prior they bitted the sh..t out of one business woman to the point that she is now in a wheelchair till the rest of her life… And when I was stopped, she was suing the American border at the Rainbow Bridge. And only because of that they didn’t physically abuse us. I felt like I was in a nazzi hands… Sincerely and honestly.

Btw, no one made an apology not to me, neither to my friend. Just on top they took all the money that I had with me. I tried to hire a lawyer in order to get my money. It cost me just additional expenses. If they want, they will do anything with you. And no one , NOBODY, is secured from something like this would happen to you… That was a very tough lesson… I’d rather not to have such an experience… If you have an illusion that you’re safe, trust me: no one is…

While I was interrogated they were telling me stuff that I am surprised myself of myself how didn’t I get a stroke or a heart attack… I was literally told that they already took my little daughter to the orphanage… What a nightmare I went through!.. Only God knows…

Well written well directed story. The assumption that the two guys with the same name was a mere coincidence was false . Whoever made that assumption underestimated the ingenious elaborate plan plan of the terrorists.

A humiliating experience for Laila. She had rights during that interrogation which shudda been respected to the full entitlement. But to lose her baby was beyond belief........ 'inconvenienced'? Who thought that one up & got a take home bonus for it?
