This special yoga nidra meditation and visualization practice can be used during the day to replenish your energy if you are feeling tired, or as a way to help you fall asleep and enjoy extremely productive and healing sleep. It has been said that 1 hour of yoga nidra equates to 4 hours of deep sleep. Using this systematic approach to full body and mind relaxation can help you connect with your own true and natural wisdom, your ability for healing and relieving stress.
Now is your time to relax and connect with your authentic self to experience inner peace and healing.
This meditation is 50 minutes of spoken word and can be used during the day or to help you go to sleep for the night.
If you are listening to this recording with the intention to move into a sleeping state, my voice will simply fade into the background and your subconscious mind will be ready to allow sleep to easily come to you.
If you are moving on with your day, your subconscious will listen to my voice bring you back to full awareness. You may also want to set a soft timer if you don't plan to go to sleep.

SAFE, SUPPORTED AND EVERYTHING IS OK! Thank you Sarah for your so calming voice, thank you for starting this Nidra Meditation with such hopeful and meaningful words. I really needed to hear that opening. ❤️ I have such a hard time ‘getting to sleep’ and staying asleep....so many ruminating thoughts. Yoga Nidra with Sarah....I’m hearing so much comfort. I melt into her voice but at the end...I’m still not sleepy! I know PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! My brain just has trouble turning off. I’m constantly hyper vigilant....’flight and fright’ aaarghh! I’m going back to listen to Sarah again ‘Yoga Nidra’.... I have faith Sarah can get me there. I just have to persevere. 💟💜☯️ Good luck and all the best to everyone else listening.

If you have chronic insomnia, doing a few yoga nidra sessions per night will eventually restore your natural sleep and ease your mind enough so that the rumination at night stops. Persist, and know that as you continue to practice, you are also being patient with yourself and cultivating self-compassion.

Turned 85 on 16th. Still use you every nite. Have had ME/CFS 35 YRS. So helpful during relapses, caĺled PEM post exerional malaise. Look us up healing should be improvement. 🎉

I'm not sure if anyone else gets this... I'm enjoying alot of these videos and exploring. But when she asks me to go to certain places, like a safe space or a moment... I don't have one. I end up going through a Rolodex of painful memories trying to frantically find a good one and end up totally out of relaxation and in a totally disturbed state. Am I alone? Are there videos on this account that anyone can direct me to where visualization of the past isn't a part of it? I am really enjoying the ones that work for me and want to find more! Thank you for your work 🙏

Hey, I understand what you mean. Instead of looking into the past, just stay present in the moment. Ask yourself what feels safe about this moment. And allow that to be your safe space.
