I am not kidding. I have severe anxiety for 10 years. I've been meditating for about 6 weeks now. It's not gone. But I am 100% certain that I am changing and this is the path to recovery. Im more detached from my anxiety and panic (and not in a DP/DR way). It's a very slow process and certainly plenty ups & downs but I noticed I am changing. It's also scary, I have no idea who I am without anxiety. But then again, I am writing this in a low anxiety period and it feels great. Calm. Focused. Ready. Thanks for sharing!

Great man. I’m bout to start meditating cuz I’ve had panic attacks like crazy. What kind of meditation did you do?

@@Andres-gp4gn i am still going! I use headspace still and I am slowly moving to unguided. Headspace teaches meditation perfectly to beginners and you can set the time you want to sit. I did the 3 basic courses. Those are 30 sessions in total and will teach you everything you need to know to keep going. And those are free. I then did the pro courses which are 80 sessions in total which I am almost done with. But after the free basic sessions you can easily sit without an app if you don't want to pay. I learned a lot from them though. Another tip is I would start slow. Start with 5 minutes. It's way more about making this a daily habit then immediately go deep. I worked my way up to 20 minutes and soon I want to do this twice a day. I can't recommend it enough!

@@bananeneter999 ahh thanks for getting back to me! Sounds great! Imma give it a try. Just trynna ease myself. My brain just starts acting crazy outta nowhere then I get panic attacks. I did read about how to amygdala gets bigger when all this happens. And I’d hate to go to the ER again. I’m glad you found meditation beneficial. Makes me believe I will too! What other things have worked for you, that you’ve noticed? Thanks again!

@@Andres-gp4gn Go for it and give it time! It's a very gradual process. I also lift weights 5 times a week and I try ro eat clean. It also is great for me.
