Dawn I couldn’t wait to tell you I’m so excited. I’ve been decluttering earnestly since middle July, my husband is over the moon that we can now have people in our home. I have hoarding tendencies and I’ve been so worried about refilling my home again, I don’t want the clutter anymore I’m really over it but I also know what I’m like when I see pretty things when I’m out shopping, ‘oh the gotta have’s.’ Yesterday i was in a store like Goodwill because I’m looking for glass bowls to put under my plants, so I can see if they need water and I came across a beautiful bread bin. I’m looking at it, gorgeous red colour, l touched it, opened the lid, it looked brand new and really wanted it, then I stopped. Before now I would have just brought it just because, got it home and thought where am I going to put it? I would have either shoved it on my kitchen bench or put it in my sewing room for another day. I thought I already have a bread bin from the 1940’s and have no desire to replace it, so I closed the lid and walked away. I am so proud of myself, I’m not saying I’m cured from hoarding, I think I will always struggle but yesterday was a small step to a brand new life. Thank you again Dawn for your gentle kindness in teaching us how to declutter, I really am getting there because of you, thank you 🥰

Your hair looks better like this! Even darker would really enhance your eye color. Darker brown tends to make your hair appear fuller/more dense. When you lighten it, the hair can seem more see-through and appear thin. I love your new look!

Another great idea for short people who can't reach things in the back of the upper cupboards very easily: we only have 4 mugs since decluttering, but my husband is tall and pushes them all the way to the back because he forgets that I'm short, so we got a lazy susan for the mugs, and it's been perfect! So easy for him to never forget where to put them, because they have a "home" now, and that home is really easy for me to quickly rotate and grab what I need! Plus it's kind of fun to spin them haha! And 4 mugs fit perfectly on the lazy susan size we got, so it was a great fix! Thanks for your videos, Dawn! I always love watching them! You have helped me so much with decluttering my house and making it easier for me to tidy up! :)

I have a necklace that has a screw clasp. I’d like to put an extender on it because it’s just a little bit too tight. But I don’t see anything that works. The ones that have a screw of class on the end so it wouldn’t necessarily be easy to open any suggestion.

I switched to Corelli dishes several years ago when my hand arthritis bugged me lifting my heavy stoneware. I agree they are so easy to clean and much less space to store. The white makes it easy to go with everything.

Word to the wise, never freeze Corelle dishware! If you put it in the freezer, then drop it after taking it out, they WILL break. I learned this from a coworker years ago who learned the hard way with their set. Otherwise, they are virtually indestructible compared to other dishware.

Mine came with little cleaning brushes and tools, and rinsing & cleaning it immediately after use has never given me a problem. We’ve used inexpensive IKEA dishes for years and years. But as I’m aging and having more back issues, I was really noticing the extra stress to my back when loading and unloading the dishwasher with the heavy dishes. So we just invested in Correlle a few months ago, and I am absolutely adoring it. When I was young, I would never have imagined that the weight of dishes could bother me, but aging me sure does!

I have the veggie chopper and I LOVE it. I figured out the secret to not having to press hard is not to overload it. But even doing smaller batches at a time still is much quicker than hand chopping all those veggies. I also use it as an egg chopper when I make potato or egg salad. But I make a lot of soups, stews, salsa and guacamole and that chopper has saved SO much time and effort! I would not part with mine.

Thanks for the recs! I have the water bottle racks and wish I had found them sooner. We can now see all our water bottles/coffee tumblers, we can reach them without having to search through the cupboard, and we're actually using what we have. We used to forget what was in the back of the cupboard, never use them, and then buy more. Not anymore. Can't say enough about the racks. Also my Corelle dishes. Another "wish I bought them sooner" item. I'm a potter, so I actually MAKE all these beautiful, artistic, handmade dishes. And yet I still use my Corelle. Corelle is so light weight, which is better for my arthritis, better for husband's carpal tunnel, better for kids, better for older people. They take up less space. They don't break. You can microwave them. I can't say enough. I love them.

Hi, love your inspiring channel. After you boil your eggs, instead of peeling them with your fingers, run a tableware teaspoon up under the shell, you have to start it first but just run the spoon in the shape of the egg and you'll get the job done so much faster. I do my boiled eggs in my instant pot and I'll never go back, the shell practically falls off. ❤

We have a food chopper similar to the one you showed. We make a lot of pico de gallo every summer with veggies from our garden and love the small dice. Ours came with a brush, so it is easy to clean. I wouldn't be without it.

We have a small laundry room and the wall mounted drying rack has been wonderful. I was so grateful for that recommendation. I love those dish cloths since years ago when you talked about them. I've got sets for everyone for Christmas that year. They love them. They last so nice. Love my O cedar mop the best. Others in my family use it as well. I. Wore thick eyelashes this year for my daughter's wedding and I wore the brand that you talked about loved them. And they look so natural. I like what you share. Because you're someone I would trust and have not been disappointed on any products that I have tried. I love the little smiley sponge . Years ago I thought I had to have white porcelain dishes. They were so heavy and they took up so much space. I finally listened to someone in my family and went to white. Corral. Have had them for way. Over 20 years and they are fantastic, love them love them. There are everyday dishes. They don't take up as much space and they are durable. What I like about the white ones is I can put them on different tablecloths and it looks pretty. ??? I have a question. Are those glasses pretty durable? There are a lot of comments about your hair color. It is so pretty, but if you like your hair a bit lighter, go lighter. Do what you want with your hair. I bought the dishrags a few years ago and love them. Love what you use and use what you love, whether it's microfiber or not! Since decluttering so much, the other day I went to multiple stores and didnt buy a single thing! I was amazed!! Thank you SO much for your inspiration and help along the way Dawn!! I've still got many layers of the onion to go but I can definitely feel the difference already and want others to have the same experience. Working on my moms house soon!!

O Cedar spin mop is great! I got the model with a rinse water reservoir which is okay but not necessary, the mop fabric and spinner is the main advantage

I KNEW you would love the egg cooker! I have the smaller version, and I use it weekly. I don't put them in water, leave them on the counter, or prep the eggs in any way. The reason they peel easier, is because you poke a hole in the top of the egg, and the steam escapes, and that creates a space between the shell and the rest of the egg. I refuse to peel eggs that were hard-boiled any other way, now.

We purchased the instant pot that has the air fryer. Actually I gave my older version without the air fryer away and replaced it. My husband uses the pressure cooker option 3-4 minutes for perfect poached eggs every Saturday. I make "hard boiled" eggs in it @4 minutes, 4 minute pressure natural release and then ice water bath. Easy to peel right away.

I just read in a FB group that putting the dish cloths in the dryer causes them to disintegrate. I don't have any myself, but I remember reading that.
