If you loved this, check their performance of Scream for Me. It has a guitar duel between Midori and Miyako for the ages. I counted at least 16 handoffs between the two of them and the last minute and a half is intense. Buckle up!

Lovebites plays so many elements of Thrash and Power Metal so well its staggering. We talk about how well they play but my God they Write like Gods as well. Exodus,Metallica,Slayer,Testament,Megadeth,etc...... You hear them all in each of their songs. Beyond Impressive.

LOVEBITES - Break The Wall lyrics: (DIE) No sign of my time Cause I wish to live another life (BY) Who will save my poor soul? Crying alone in a dim hole (MY) Can't believe it's real Cause in the end, everything is gone (SIDE) How should I live from now? Find myself staring at the walls Tonight, I'll break the wall It's now or never Now, I'm on my own I've gotta get free Bite, I'll break the chain Run to my shelter Make it out alive I have to break through the wall (DIE) No sign of my crime Got my scars during wartime (BY) Who's the one that did it Deadly venom eating me inside (MY) Spent my life in vain I can't forget everything I've done (SIDE) I swear to my hatred Find myself staring at the walls Tonight, I'll break the wall It's now or never Now, I'm on my own I've gotta get free Bite, I'll break the chain Run to my shelter Make it out alive I have to break through the wall (DIE) No sign of my time Cause I wish to live another life (BY) Who will save my poor soul? Backing vocals DIE BY MY SIDE, next in line should be Intro: The Awakening-The Hammer of Wrath just as thrashy as Break The Wall kzbin.info/www/bejne/paWti4OLeNysha8

If you look closely, the reason Asami is sushing the crowd after the switch from the slow solo back to thrash, is because she is trying to direct them to only chant/yell on a specific beat. Watch the arms raise of the other band members as they chant in unison, and then remain quiet on the other beats.

If you do "The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath" please do NOT choose the Bloodstock video for it - the audio mix on that one isn't nearly as good as the one from Tokyo in 2020. Use this link for the correct video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/paWti4OLeNysha8

Thanks for coming back so soon to Lovebites. "Inspirational"--perfect word for the effect they have. I go all the way back to Yardbirds, Allman Bros., Derek and the Dominoes--have never heard one song with two such different, yet perfect solos. M&M show strikes again.

I definitely hear Slayer riffs in this. Listen to it at least once a day! Many have said they could easily play with the Big 4 of Thrash, I completely agree, especially now that Slayer retired there's an opening! :-) Dying to hear new stuff from LB and hope they stay the heavy route...leaning towards Exodus. That would be bad ass! One thing's for sure: Midori and Miyako F shred like no one's business, no denying that. I'd put them against any metal duo any day of the week! Want further proof, here you go. Signs of Deliverance live - the harmonized solo doesn't get any better kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWfSh5l5r9eofrM Scream for me live - 2nd half of song is a shred battle between M&M kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5TanKOenN-BnZo

This song pulls from the history of thrash. Doesn't remind me of any other song, and is absolutely at the level of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, etc. This song really stands on its own, a song extremely tight at great speed....all of them. And the contrasting yet on point vocals totally unique.

Hello Vampire. If you like Dark Goethe just go check out another Japanese coffin band called “unlucky morpheus”. The song “angreifer” (German mean attacker) is about being attacked by a vampire and being turned. Unfortunately the official live video doesn't have eng sub. But the music and atmosphere are excellent. By the way, they have a little violin princess part of the band

The part that sounds familiar I think your thinking of is Megadeth “Trust”. Right after the acoustic slowdown of trust is the that part. Come to think of it this song did the same thing. Acoustic slowdown just like Trust.

Dont know if Break the Wall is like all the best of Lovebites, but is ever best of heavy metal worldwide. Kind of Metallica trash you say.. just the better Metallica here. Fuck me, this song is my N1 in my all heavy metal list along with The Trooper, Heaven and Hell, The Sentinel, etc...

For me as someone whose favourite old school metal subgenre is Thrash Metal, this song, "Set the World on Fire" and "The Hammer of Wrath" are my favourite songs by Lovebites (though I like any of their songs). Once again I will repeat myself by stating that the main riff of this song reminds me of Testament's "Over the Wall": kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqLPeauMbrWpmcU (just go to the 34-seconds-mark in that clip). Since "The Legacy" was my favourite album in 1987 and is still one of my overall favourite Thrash Metal albums, this is a compliment and I'd rank "Break the Wall" (at least this live version) even higher, because I like the sound and the guitar solos better.

Wow you stopped way to many times on this one..also.. do you say slash sounds like jimi hendrix or Jeff beck sounds like les paul?.. then why do you say these ladies sound like (enter guitarist here) ?.. why can't they just have their own personal guitarist identities ?.. I mean, All musicians are influenced by previous musicians, and I figured you mean it in a complimentary way, but all you hear from reactors is how they sound like somebody else, like they're just copies of other bands, not giving them credit for their own sound, or style.
@gatograto2 жыл бұрын
Ha ha ha. That happens all the time. Nobody pops up from nothing. Ritchie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, and all other guitarists tried to copy Freddie King. The Beatles and Stones from Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, and others. It is the history of the world.
@L.A552 жыл бұрын
@@gatograto you apparently missed the point.. I know guitarists are influenced by their predecessors, but they're still known for what they personally brought to the table..otherwise you'd never call Steve Vai, EVH, or any others, "guitar greats", you'd just continually bring up their heroes.. and how these greats just copy them..

If you're into doom metal, check out BlackLab, the Dark Witch Doom Duo from Osaka. They have a cool official video that has both their songs "Warm Death" and "Black Moon".
