It’s not addictive the in sense of becoming physically dependent on it, but you can become addicted to weed especially if you’re a chronic user and you should absolutely not be using weed regularly or maybe at all if you are predisposed to schizophrenia and bipolar and other mental disorders.

I think it has to be said that Tom telling Scheana that Ariana threatened to kill herself is so fucking disgusting and disrespectful and dangerous. Because they don’t break the 4th wall people forget that they know they’re on national TV and not just having a regular conversation and that he’s sharing this incredibly private and deeply sad information if true with the whole country. It’s incredibly manipulative for him to make himself look like that good guy who had no choice but to stay. Marijuana is not addictive, proven fact. People can be “addicted” to the habit of smoking weed but it’s not an addictive substance. You can’t OD on weed and nobody goes through withdrawals like they do with other drugs and alcohol.

This was an absolutely insane episode. Marijuana is NOT extremely addictive, and many people use it recreationally, responsibly and some even need it medically. I love Ariana and all (and I was essentially "Scandovaled" by my ex) but to be fair Ariana loved Tom for slightly similar reasons for why Tom wanted Raquel. Alot of people go with someone more vulnerable/insecure/weaker than them for their own perceived safety measures. Tom loved syphoning Ariana's strength, confidence and sense of self and Ariana felt safe that Tom lost soul would abide by her and never wrong her because he needed her force. Now Tom is so insecure he needs someone more lost and insecure THAN HIM to control ... que in Rachel. My husband and I both watch the show and we saw something like this coming for a long time we just didn't think it would be Raquel. I feel like Ariana and I are SOOO alike and I could write a thesis but I'll end here.
