That scene from the table to this day (I think it was 6 years ago now) still hits me hard. It was intense for all 4 hours and you had no idea if the group would make it or not. I hope they bring that to what seems the first episode. So excited for people who haven’t watched the table episode to experience 4 adult dragons and the terror they can bring.

Slight correction: those aren't adult dragons. those are ancient dragons, and they are MUCH stronger then adult dragons.

And it is so cool that we have the 3 season confirmed, it shows that at least we will have the Chroma Conclave entire arc. I bet they guaranteed the 3rd season because of that. It will probably take 2 seasons.

Since they walked into Amazon's offices with season 1 already almost completely paid for already, Amazon can afford to greenlight them a full year ahead of any other show on TV.

I remember that attack by the Chroma Conclave like I was physically there. The panic of the players, what do we do?! They thought "we have fought a dragon before, we should stand and fight". Uhhh, fuck no, this is run away or die. And Vox Machina was not expecting that at all!!! Terrifying. Utter shock. I am reminded of the old saying "He who fights and runs away may live to fight another day." (wow that quote dates back to the 1700's, I had no idea)

Being the opening attack, by the white dragon specifically on a tower that breaks; I'd say its indeed the adaptation of that Alluras tower scene, just in this version its part of the castle rather than seperate. If it is, when she meets up with VM after the escape it should be confirmed when she reveals her history with the dragons, that she thinks she was specifically targeted.

Yeah, it makes sense to change it this way since we hadn't had Allura's tower appear in the show already so audiences haven't had an emotional connection with it the way the party did in the game having been to her tower a few times previously. Making it part of the palace is a good change

So glad that on October 6, 2022, Amazon renewed the series for a third season as well. Wendy and Dustin do you think that it would be the final season or might go on? Or you think three season is all they need?

Just January 2023. We don't know when in January it will be released - the CR cast announced during their panel at NYCC that they haven't been given a specific day yet, but at least we have a month!
