FUN FACT: Did you know that David Tennant was also the voice of Scrooge McDuck in the reboot series of DuckTales and Kelly Hu always been an amazing voice actress from Phineas and Ferb to Young Justice as Cheshire. When Greg Griffin do the villainous role she always aced it especially in Avatar:The Last Airbender when she was a Azulu!

Watching this had me practicing my own upper crust villain voice and I kinda want to put more work into being a VA now lol getting into character without having to worry about your outward appearance is EXTREMELY liberating; for those interested, try it! I love that everyone is getting to do this and that some of the best in the biz responded to this project; everyone seems PERFECTLY cast and I'm VERY excited for this to come out

I didn't get so much of a vibe that Yennan was really altered, more that she may be playing a larger role this time around so we're just hearing about aspects of her that weren't as prominent the first time through. As for Archibald, admittedly its been quite a while since I went through Campaign 1, but the name is only vaguely familiar. I don't even remember him well enough to have noticed he was changed if they didn't say so.

I love how you used the Marquesian greeting at the start Wendy! And I love how they've got their friends who have played guest roles to voice these roles. Felicia Day and then Kharyl as Uriel will be amazing and Darin de Paul (Sprigg!!!)!!!!! And needless to say that I think many of us reacted in similar ways to a number of these reveals. I really hope that, at some point, Mary and Will F return at some point in a future series to reprise their roles as Zahra and Kash.

I really didn't expect to see Gina Torres. I loved her in Firefly, Suits and Pearson. I checked her IMDB and realized she's been in other animated shows like a couple of Star Wars. Not being someone who watches much animation, it was a surprise to me. It looked like Dustin was trying to remember where he knew Tracie Thoms from. She played Joanne in the RENT movie. I also loved her in Wonderfalls. She's actually done a lot of TV appearances, but those are the two I know her most from.

My hope for the series as a whole is: 1 season for the briarwoods arc (obviously) 2 seasons for the chroma conclave 2 - 3 seasons for Vecna Overall 5 - 6 seasons is perfect, and I just want them to not rush through things, nor do I want them to really drag it out. Then when that’s all done and dusted, The Legend of the Mighty Nein!

@@jw__11 I mean, that's all integrated, and will weave into the three main arcs. I imagine the steps of the Aramente will occur throughout the run of the show. And though the Taryon Darrington arc is in between the chroma conclave and vecna arcs, I imagine they'll end the chroma conclave arc with Scanlan leaving & meeting Tary. Then they'll begin the vecna arc with Taryon joining. He'll stick around for about half a season, and then Scanlan returns when Vecna really starts to become a problem. It's all gonna be condensed together, so trimming the fat is necessary.

Honestly, Fans seem to me a little overhyped right now. It's understandable, because we're so close to the start, but let's see if the show gets enough views first. I have no doubt that people that watched CR will like it, but to be more than 2 seasons it has to draw in people that are new. And A LOT of them, animation is expensive. And I'm not so sure it will, because it is not easy to get new people to watch something that has so much inside jokes and backstory that they don't know. I do hope for more, I actually would love if the Mighty Nein get animated after that, because I think it would be even better. But I have my doubts, so I hope you're right with that optimism.

You said that you didn't watch season one of Vox Machina. I would suggest watching it from the beginning. I know that it is a big investment but you can take it in little chunks. You do need to survive Tiberius Stormwind but he goes away somewhere before episode 30 and the game really starts to jell. There are sooo many little organic moments that mean so much to me even now. After all "Life needs... things... to live..."

I don't know if you can find the original-original VODs from the series but if you can they would be well worth watching. As an original backer of the show and G+S there was something so insanely intense about the 100s-1000s of us watching at once and interacting with the cast as they performed. Sadly they re-issued the original series mainly I believe due to the (admittedly naughty) copyright infringement of the opening artwork. But even when they made their first home-spun introduction the fan interaction was insane. Everyone seemed to know each other and all the artists were in chat responding to people admiring their art. Sigh. But I do mean it: Watch the original VODs if you can find them.
