In one episode we got the deadly tag team of Nightcrawler and Wolverine, the Summers Family fighting a horde of Prime Sentinels, Bastion’s on screen debut as one of the the biggest and most formidable villains in Marvel history, Magneto proving again why he’s one of the most OP characters in comics history, and Charles Xavier ending the episode with “To me, my X-men”. *AND THIS IS JUST PART ONE!!!* I don’t know if we can handle parts 2 and 3.

I loved how they matched Magneto's camp tattoo to how it's shown in the live action movies. Same number, same style, same location. Also, Beast's map showing a lot of activity in NW Australia gave me a chuckle. Unless there are some major changes in their version of Earth, that's a lot of converted humans chilling out in the middle of nowhere.

You had the original danger room training montage with Cyclops and Storm in the title sequence. Man Cable being Doctor Strange pulling 14000605 combinations. I think it's connected to the whole Beyond Good and Evil arc with Apocalypse and the axis of time. That's kind of the point of origin.

Watching the episodes the director recommended to watch before this was so rewarding. It dealt with the immediate aftermath of the Days of Future Past 2 parter, the Asteroid M arc, life without Charles Xavier and everything about those episodes led up to the magnificent moment of "Magneto Was Right"

I suspect Bastion intended for Magneto to be released and conditioned him to do this. Have Magneto unleashed, forced into a world wide attack like this to disable the Prime Sentinels and then Bastion gets that as ammo to further paint the mutants as the villains to fully turn humanity against them. He can then follow up either with a newer model that's resistant to Magneto's power or maybe he's even able to turn other Marvel heroes against mutants and this sets up Avengers Vs X-Men.

Exactly what I thought. Magneto probably killed so many people you think of all the planes crashing on the next episode filled with innocent civilians. The Avengers are going to have to stop Magneto not knowing that Bastion is the mastermind(mold) behind it. But maybe they won’t do that here . I think they’re waiting for a big screen adaptation of that. But this will start the set up

By watching the episode. and give my opinion. It makes me let the visual spectacle, the characters that have appeared as the story progresses, make them more impressive and super memorable. And they manage to establish the balance that everything must be in a good frame. To put a degree of emotion, devastation, suspense, joy and an epic ending. X men without a doubt they have the best stories of all.

Showing how Nightcrawlers portals looked did two things. It was cool and it basically showed how it's not as over powered and he can't spam it. Going through them takes effort and moving those short spaces, think about how long he was in the portal.

So here's the fun thing about Bastion's origin: The chunk of Nimrod that found its way into that janitor, was from the episode "One Man's Worth" where Nimrod went back in time to kill Xavier when he was a college student, and Bishop teams up with alternate-reality versions of Wolverine and Storm have to save him (shown in the opening). The woman that janitor marries is the Waitress in that same episode who gets Logan and Storm kicked out of the diner for being an interracial couple. Talk about attention to detail!

I really don't think live-action format can capture the awesomeness of the X-Men. Which is why I think they should do what Japan does with anime and make animated movies that tie-in with the series. The animated movies would even expand the Marvel Animation Universe.

Val Cooper is a character in the comics so to me it never made sense for her to be Mystique she’s has value being Val plus it would’ve been a plot hole to make her Mystique. All the psychics would easily be able to know and wolverine would easily be able to smell her and know and the Sentinel that was identifying and killing mutants never said anything about her. Just another fan theory people ran with and I’m glad she is just Val

So far this episode was the very best one . Episode 5 was great as well but this was INSANE! My girlfriend was like WTF ! And she doesn’t get that hyped up for this kinda stuff ! But this felt more like I was watching the start of the 90’s comic it was so flipping good and fricken Nightcrawler man . The best new edition to the show. When he was talking about family and then when it’s all out war . You see who he is fighting along side him . And who both of they are protecting . He is with his very best friend ….. Wolverine. If it is Mystique she is really carry on the grift because she wouldn’t need a cast, her power would heal any broken bones but she’d have to wear it to carry out the disguise. They’ve changed how Bastion was created, in the comics it happened when he was older but in the show they’ve made it so that when Nimrod was destroyed in the original cartoon show, it’s surviving nanites infected Sebastian’s father and grafted to his DNA and then infected the unborn child he created with his mother. We’ve met Bastion’s parents already in the first cartoon series. They were bigots in the episode where Storm and Wolverine were a couple in an alternate timeline. The mother is the bigoted waitress that turns them in and his father is the bigot in the leather jacket they encounter. Sebastian was born with a hate for mutants because it’s encoded in his DNA from Nimrod and Mastermold before him. That’s why Bastion knows the future and the past, Nimrod was from the future and he helped create a future he wanted to come to pass by creating an evolved version of himself in a human skin suit. I loved seeing Juggernaut, wish he had got some hits in. If the Avengers ever show up and they go toe to toe with the Xmen, I need to see Storm take Thor on like in the comics when the Xmen went to Asgard. So much good stuff coming next two episodes.
