Wanda is flexing in the ultimate max is real. Reading the Darkhold in Astral Body while awake is insane. Dr Strange can do it but he's asleep. It just shows how insanely powerful Wanda is.

@@TempestLA there's literally multiple examples in this very show of Wanda being called stronger than Strange, moreover astral projection is typical displayed when one sleeps or is completely still, Wanda was multi-tasking while reading the Darkhold. You must not have much of an idea of how insane that is based the comics.

I get that it is said once in the episode about her being stronger than the Sorcerer Supreme. All I am saying is that there are multiple comments in the various threads of “Wow, she was astral projecting while AWAKE. That makes her so earth shatteringly powerful!” I am pointing out one that that is WAY down the list of things that shows her power level. Hex bubble over town, EXPANDING hex bubble over town, mind control entire town even when the targets are not in visual range, defeating a centuries old witch going on instinct, sucking the magical abilities out of said witch, having your own chapter in the freaking Darkhold!! Oh, and yeah, she can Astral Project while she is awake. Doctor Strange can’t do that based on the one time we have seen him Astral Project in the movies...sorry, doesn’t really make the list of “insanely powerful abilities.”

I don't care if there's no cameo. I'm a fan of Quicksilver too, they wasted Pietro in this which is understandable. Overall i love the episode tho, Scarlet witch's costume is amazing. Y'all need to chill out, we're watching WandaVision so basically this is all about Wanda and how she became a Scarlet witch. Plus, this is a tv series not a movie, this is a beginning of Phase 4 y'all can't expect the ending to be like infinity war. Geez

Have to admit Pietro being a random dude was really disappointing, but Wandavision was always first and foremost Wanda's story, so to have them really hone in on that and not have other stuff get in the way, is pretty neat. Getting to see Wanda's grief is what this show is built upon. I'm just wondering how NWH becomes the next part of the Multiverse trilogy now

Gotta admit I did NOT want Evan Peters to be Fox's Quicksilver now in the MCU. I want a fresh start for the X-Men. But I was a little disappointed that he was just some random guy being controlled by Agatha. Doesn't ruin the episode or the show though, I loved it!!!

This is actually pretty good. I came here for wanda and that's what I got. Her character and power development was very satisfying and Agatha claiming that wanda's power was more powerful than that of the sorcerer supreme made me excited for what her role will be in doctor strange 2. For those who hasn't seen yet the episode you won't be disappointed if you ignore the theories and remember that this is just the start of the phase four. I'm pretty sure they're saving the cameos, and more easter eggs, and the big reveal of who is the big bad for the upcoming shows.

I was kinda bummed out,more cus a lot of things werent answered,and some things were but they didnt have that wow factor,like hayward,he simply got arrested and thats that,i wouldve loved to see more fight or arguments between him and wanda or monica or i dunno,and its not much about me seeing it like the theories,cuz i think theyre all over the place,but rather that huge wow factor,wasnt really there,i mean yes in some parts i was like holy fucks this is amazing,but then it was kinda like,aight lets wait and wait and wait for some huge reveal of some sort,but nothing came up,just the fight scenes,and believe me i loved this episode,but not enough for me to say it was my favorite,i just wouldve liked to see a bit more for every character and not just one or 2 scenes and then forget about them,or atleast some bigger reveals from unexplained questions or smn,but we mostly got fight scenes,which im not mad about,but i expected much much more honestly

@@rodrigocisneros3166 Yea same for me I felt that some of the scenes were quite messy, and the characters didn’t interact with each other as much as I would have expected or if they did interact it was very briefly. I would have liked to see a team up between Monica, Darcy and perhaps Jimmy and the scene with Hayward and Darcy was so quickly brushed over. Also the fact that the White Vision suddenly turned nice was a bit strange. I did think the overall episode was good though :3

I was literally sobbing. I love how you pointed out that Wanda had a choice at the end, which made the ending so much more emotional and powerful. I think it would have been a bit too "bland" and "predictable" if she was forced to lose everything her kids and Vision again. But the fact that she had a choice and chose to sacrifice all that she had for people who don't even understand her pain and story makes the goodbye scene with her kids and vision so much more emotional. I could almost feel her emptiness when the hex went away as she was standing on the empty property.

She could have kept what she had, but she realized she needed to let go of her grief (and all it’s unintentional consequences) for the good of the townspeople .

And I have to say this, I love Vision's confidence here. The way they dealt things with the White Vision was amazing. It shows that the power of intelligence and willingness to understand can rival even mere physical strength. It means Vision is still gonna live in that white vision since he already has all the memories of the real vision. Gawd marvel is amazinggggg. I'm still tearing up and cheering on when Wanda finally accepted her fate, her true identity. I AM SO PROUUDDDDDD. Despite no cameos or mephistos, that scarlet witch moment was more than enough. I was glad they focused Wanda more here cause if there would be a cameo, the talk of the final episode would also be focused on who that cameo is and not fully on Wanda. Surprisingly I preferred this ending so much more!!!! Yeeess

I’m glad they decided to keep some form of OUR Vision intact in the main MCU timeline. From Age of Ultron to now, Vision has grown to be one of my favorite characters. He’ll show up in an end/mid credit scene at some point in Phase 4 or 5.

The best part is they didn’t fall into the trope of Wanda going evil and a man swooping into save her. Although she did lose control (due to grief) and start things into motion, in the end SHE has agency in making things right: she learns to master her abilities, she finds the solution to her problem, and ultimately, she makes the decision on how to rectify the problem by letting go. Bravo to Marvel for creating such strong, complex female character!

Personally I think Wanda is not really going to be a vilain or the next Thanos level threat. I think she is going to seek out the Sorcerer Supreme for advice about getting her kids back. Right now she is really new to all of this and I can imagine that Wanda would see the use of seeking out Strange. Also fun fact: Elizabeth Olsen is out of the corset that she found so uncomfortable. And personally this new outfit is her best yet.

She could attack Strange at first because she’s kinda scared of her newfound powers but at the end, it’ll be a much needed resolution and maybe we’ll get that cameo of White Vision. I feel like Vision is going to appear in some end credits scene at some point.

Also think of this Wanda is one of the (if not the) most popular characters in the MCU that is still around. So that is another reason as to why I don't think Wanda will become a villain. Maybe she becomes sort of an anti-hero?

Does she actually know about Dr Strange and Kamar-taj? Obviously she had the chance to meet sorcerers during Endgame but I don’t imagine them divulging much about the mystic arts to non-sorcerers. Meanwhile the fact that none of them recognised Wanda as a witch during Endgame implies they wouldn’t know to seek her out/be able to detect her. Maybe Strange comes across her trying to get her kids back or some nefarious entities take an interest in Wanda and seek her out in turn attracting Dr Strange.

When she was reading the book in the post credits scene you can see the circular shapes above her and the multiple arms, that’s exactly what Doctor Strange did Infinity War when he fought Thanos so it perfectly sets up the lead in to The Multiverse of Madness

At the end of the day, the Avengers will need all the powerful members they can get. Wanda, Doctor Strange, Thor, Captain Marvel, Monica aka Spectrum (seems the MCU will go with that) and any new members, including those from the Fantastic Four (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) or X-men. After all, GALACTUS is bound to come once the Fantastic Four franchise is properly included into the MCU. Heck, he'll probably send his herald, Silver Surfer, first, and that guy will be a tough challenge, even for Wanda. The Avengers will need to expand.

This was a story to show how Wanda becomes Scarlet Witch. Just like how Arthur becomes Joker. In joker the main plot was not at all related to any superhero or science fiction or super beings but was about today's society and how it turned a man into Joker. similarly wanda-vision is about love, grief and anger and how it can change a person i.e. potentially make them a villain which they never wanted to be. and showed how wanda became scarlett witch. Main events like Maephisto, dr. strange, multiverse, etc will be revealed in the films. People are creating their own theories and getting dissapointed. MCU took 6 films to reveal Thanos and they want everything to be revealed in 5-6hr long series. Similarly ppl are making theories around spiderman 3 about toby and andrew based on NOTHING. and then they will say we are dissapointed cause they didn't show up.

The teaching moments were Wanda having learned to use the runes - and also whatever Wanda learns from Agatha's version of the Darkhold grimoire.

29:00 The problem with the expectation of her, going full mental breakdown with the last scene where she is bidding goodbye to Vision is... it is not realistic and grounded. Remember that she did not intentionally created the hex. She screamed her pain and chaos magic just unleashed onto her, and when she straightened up she just saw Vision and completely immersed herself in the reality. She does not know that the people inside are suffering because her grief are nightmares for them. It is shown in Ep 9 that she doesn't believe they are hurt. She's in denial about it. It is the depiction that she cannot control her abilities, so when she knew that she is hurting people unintentionally because of the hex, she act accordingly to stop it. That was a very grounded characterization by the writers right there. The series just shows that Wanda despite having poweful abilities, has a good heart and willing to act accordingly if she knows that what she's doing is something bad to others. She will fix her mistakes, and she did. She stopped it immediately and let them evacuate. Then... as she realized that her powers are uncontrollable, she isolated herself as per post credit scene, to learn about the Scarlet Witch that has an entire chapter in the Darkhold. This is why I don't think she will be a villain. That characterization right there is pretty much saying that "I will strive to learn to control these powers, so I will not hurt anyone anymore". I don't think she is tapping to the evil side of magic. I do think that she wanted to learn about her abilities given the fact that Agatha said an entire chapter is dedicated for the Scarlet Witch. Then she probably got to the chapter of tapping to dimensions or multiverses and she ended up hearing the souls of her twin boys. So "probably" the villain of DS2 is the one who have the souls of Wanda's children. I'm very against on the villain arc, because she pretty much became one already in the series, but as she realizes she is hurting people, she willingly stop it, and let the Westview people go, including Vision and her children. That characterization right there is so strong. "I am hurting people already and I don't want to do that again so I will learn these abilties". She doesn't have any reasons to be a villain. If anything, she wanted to learn how her powers work so she can control it and she will not hurt anyone anymore.

the thing is though, the darkhold warps the minds of those who read it, making them extremely dangerous. its probably the reason why agatha's mother wanted to dispose of her own daughter quickly. i still doubt the Mephisto theory but Cthon, the author of the book, checks out considering its a horror

@@whatiswhat8061 That is not canon YET tho? Where did you get that the Darkhold will warp mind? LMAO. Agents of Shield? That's not canon to the MCU. Also, she is much more powerful than the Darkhold. She isolated herself, because she knew what she did was wrong and she strived to learn about her abilities by reading the chapter dedicated for her. Saying that it will warp her mind is an extreme imaginative theory again LMAO. Much like people imagining that Evan is actually QS of another universe, or Mephisto is coming. Doctor Strange 1 ended with Mordo being done with the work of wizards, and possibly he will want to end all of them, so whoever interdimensional villain he will unleash or whtvr, the major plot point of the DS2 is the villain hates witches and wizards and will attack the two powerful ones like Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch to end them both. There is already a good characterization placed for Wanda in WandaVision and giving her the villain again is utmost disappointment. I'm betting my assets that Scarlet Witch will just mind her own business in MoM learning her abilities, trying to find where those voices of her children are coming from. Yall expecting she will be a villain is another clown moment again. Mordo will be the major villain of DS2 with another interdimensional level villain in a Dormammu level.

@@airwaters im not expecting her to be a full on villain. also, "not canon" doesnt exist in marvel. not canon in mcu maybe, but aou exists within another universe we'll just have to wait and see in ds2. i happen to like the hero-messed-up trope because its fun when done right, but a bigger bad guy is obviously imminent. all im saying is wanda might have a hand in whatever happens whether she wants to or not, considering her prophecy im also not on board with the "hating witches/sorcerers". See I can agree with all of that about Wanda and the Hex. She didn't know it was harming them, undoes it as soon as she learns, realizes it's bad to control people like that. ...but then she just turns around and does it to Agatha and smiles about it, even though she's supposed to have just learned that it was wrong. And worse still she is doing it intentionally now. Even if you assume the nightmares/grief part of the problem won't happen to Agatha, removing her sense of self and personhood is still extremely messed up and a villain move imo.

Perfect. It had everything. Action, sadness, it tied the season together, had closure, left space for Dr. Strange feature for Wanda, everyone helped to win jimmy, vision, darcy, wanda, the twins, monica. I didn't know how it would end at all, so it had suspense. Monica showed her powers! Agatha taught us more about the Scarlet Witch. Wanda officially became the Scarlet Witch! Vision had a dope mental moment with White Vision! Episode 9 had everything!

I think Wanda has taken an isolated residence near the Wundagore Mountain. Although Transia is non-existent in MCU (replaced by Sokovia) but maybe that mountain was really Wundagore. Maybe Modred the Mystic will be the villain in Doctor Strange 2, maybe it will just be Mordo, maybe Dormammu will show up again, or maybe they will use Chthon as the villain. I just don't want any Mephisto or Nightmare, to be very honest.

This entire episode from start to finish was absolutely fantastic! The CGI was amazing and you understand why they put an Endgame esqe budget on the CGI. While I was one of the people thinking we’re getting big name appearance from a Dr Strange or whoever, I’m glad we didn’t. This kept the story focused in Wanda and Vision. I secretly hope this isn’t the last time we see Agatha. Kathryn Hahn was so damn good. While we know where Wanda goes from here, I loved the mid credit scene from Monica. We know she will be in Captain Marvel 2 and that seems to be the hint we here it goes but I kind of think this could also be a Secret Invasion tease. We know Nick Fury (who the Skrull seems to be referencing) is in Space... Secret Invasion is supposed to tie into Captain Marvel 2 so... it could stand to reason that Monica will be in Secret Invasion. This was a great series overall and I love your reaction Wendy and Dustin. Will you guys be doing this for Falcon and the Winter Soldier?

Moreover narratively speaking the scene at the end was a direct parallel to Strange's scene meant to invoke how much more impressive the display was especially with his theme playing in the background.

I think with the emergence of Wanda's powers, she's able to project her body astrally like Doctor Strange to be multiple places/do multiple things at one time. We're going to see as a Nexus being, space and time doesn't matter to her. She's able to sleep, do other things etc while continually studying her magick. The chaos magick even looked more similar to the old time comic book hexes too.

It’s incredibly tragic but I actually love how it ended for Wanda, in many ways she is like an even more powerful and destructive force of nature than the Hulk. And just like him (before he became professor Hulk) while she does and has used her power for good she has also left just as much if not more collateral damage in her wake. So much that the best and really only option for her is exile. But at least she has the most beautiful place in the world to be in exile. Obi-Wan, Yoda and Luke would’ve been jealous. Also if you listen carefully when she is reading from the darkhold you care hear Doctor Strange’s theme.

I think the astral studying at the end meant two things: one, she’s able to live and move around and do normal things whilst simultaneously studying and split her attention (whereas I think doctor strange could only do the astral studying while his body was resting) and second, it’s her character to a tee, there’s a part of her just trying to live a normal, happy life, and another part of her that’s desperate to get her kids back and she’ll go as deep as she can into her magic to get it

Something interesting to note is that Kevin Feige has said that watching the Disney plus shows won't be required to understand the movies. Therefore no major reveals can ever really be introduced in these shows. I think they are setting up Scarlet Witch creating the multiverse. Wanda thought her kids were gone gone but somehow they may exist in another reality, so I think she is going to rip the multiverse open to find and help her children.

She's looking for the boys at the end. She's going to figure out a way to bring them back. And the piece of the mind stone inside Wanda that created her Hex Vision will be the thing when she comes back together with the real Vision in the future that will unlock the rest of him (his personality and emotions). Agatha will be back at some point, but she and Wanda will never completely trust each other. The only thing that sucks is that they wasted the Evan Peters Quicksilver. Although, they didn't go very deep with that. Maybe there's more there. I had my doubts about them being able to thread this needle in the final episode, but they did a great job. The MCU makes great stuff.

Agatha retains some magic... if Wanda had taken it all Agatha would have mummified as she is centuries old and the magic keeps her alive... this also means that her last line to Wanda, not if I see you first, is an Easter egg for Agatha either breaking out independently or Dr strange releasing her because he needs her help with Wanda... remember Agatha did say the scarlet witch's power exceeds the sorcerer supreme.

The show Agent Carter also explored the Darkhold book. I loved her new costume. This show needs to get at least a few or so Emmy nominations or I'll be mad, like best actress, best supporting actor, cinematography, music & VFX. I still think Dr. Strange 2 will give us more answers we still have from this show. I think it would be a nice touch if Wanda got herself a dog in the real world and maybe called it Sparky 2.0. I also wonder if we will get to see White Vision going on his own journey of self-discovery of who he wants to be. If...if...there ever is a season 2 (I do not think there will be, but Feige at least seemed open to the possibility), season 2 could explore that with White Vision learning to become a hero of his own and we could also revisit Agnes. Speaking of Agnes, I'd love to know who Agnes will cling to now as the nosy neighbor without Wanda there anymore....LOL. Talk about eternal punishment. She also is stuck speaking in that Ned Flanders sort of way. :) In the post-credit scene, I almost expected to see Wanda having formed a smaller hex around the cabin and manifested Vision again. Vision doesn't need the mind stone to have feelings, emotions, in the comics Vision doesn't have the mind stone, he doesn't need it to have feelings, The jewel on his forehead in the comics is a ‘solar gem’ which serves as a focus point for his solar powered energy blast (which can also be emitted through his eyes). .. I know this isn't the comics, it's the MCU, I'm going to get there, just bare with me for a moment. The MCU take the inpirations from the comics, and change things, but they take the source material to take ideas, So, if the MCU wants to take that route, they can do it, the inspiration is there in the comics, *they know how to be creative about it because they were going to do it in IW. In IW Banner said that Vision's mind is a complex layered mind, that contain Jarvis, ultron, a bit of Tony, of Banner himself and the mindstone, but that each layer was constantly learning from one another, always learning from the other.* Shuri was going to remove the mindstone but she was trying to save the data, (Vision's brain) in order to replace the mindstone with a different energy source like, perhaps something similar to the one the white-Vision has, once the mindstone was out of his head and then she was going to upload his Data back to Vision, again. *The reason he doesn't need the mindstone to have emotions it's because in his data he already has the "good" traits that the mindstone embuided in him, the good qualities and the part of his personality, that she was responsible for, thanks to the fact that each layer of Vision's brain learned from each other.* What I think happen here is that the creators of the show wanted Wanda to accept her reality, her past, Vision's death, and to loose her children "temporary" because during the whole show, Wanda goes through the process of grieving, and the final stepped of it is acceptance, she needed to accept Vision's death.. The whole show was about Wanda's grief... I think they can take white Vision and give him a good character arc, in where he slowly becomes how he was before his death... I love your reactions.. It's interesting that Wanda can be conscious whilst she astral projects because that is not something the Ancient One did/could do and I am not sure Dr Strange can do it either (at this point in time at least). This will probably link to the next Dr Strange movie which is about the multiverse especially because of the warped theme music that you can hear in the background in that final shot of Wanda.

She indeed create an astral projection of herself and she did this feat as well in the comic.... she was in different places at the same time fighting the Phoenix 5. I doubt agatha wants to the power to use it for good, this is based on her mother's accusation of being deceitful. She wants power that's the main reason why she broke the coven's rules to learn dark magic. She's envious that Wanda has Chaos Magic even though she is not knowledgable. Oh some people theorized that QS is just a nod to Fox's QS and that he maybe actually Ralph, so they (I got that as well) correct. One of the theories out there that is right about the show.
