This is the best LOOKING folding phone I think we've seen yet. I know you don't like it but I personally would rather no hole punch at all for the large screen. The way the device is wedge shaped to fit better in the hand, the way the bezels are the same size all the way around the device (seriously why can't every phone do this???), it's just the most visually appealing folding phone. It's the first one that really is starting to look like it could be a consumer device, minus the price and google stuff of course.

I would consider getting a foldable like this in a few years when they have figured some more of the “glitches” related to new concepts and the price point begins to drop. My biggest concern though (other than that potential cracking problem) is how protective phone cases will be for these. I tend to drop my phone more often than I should and that protective factor is really important. However, the potential for a cellphone that folds out into a mini tablet really appeals to me for work purposes, especially if there ends up being one with a stylus for signing documents since I currently pull out my iPad the handful of occasions I need to do that.

I've revisited the Duo every two weeks or so. In fact I tried moving back into it after the Fold2 went out for repair, but only managed to last half a day. @ForgingMyLife3 жыл бұрын
@@TheMrMobile thanks for the reply...appreciate it. I'm not sure you have stuck with it long enough - 'half a day'. It needs to be at least a week. It really isn't as undercooked as you say, yes there are things that can be improved but for a 1.0 it is very good. I have used it as a daily driver with and without the bumper and skins and it has held up VERY well. The screens are as good as ever, the battery life is still good, it has the cracked charger port thing, but don't even notice it. The software is very reliable with occasional glitches, but all in all it is brilliant. Just saying.

This is getting interesting, aside from no wireless charging, I think I'd choose this over the current fold. I would even feel that it's a no compromise phone.
