The Mondrian is weirdly brilliant! I'm not big on flashy. But for sunny regions, I'd actually love a phone that's minimalist in the board room but subtly screams, "Hey, you're outside now!" in the sunlight. Very fun!

Absolutely true…I also had Nokia 3220 and man it was fun! Those lights on the sides had an advantage that they were colourful (Red, yellow, green) and bright with a rubbery grip. Also we could insert our own designs into the back cover for a unique look. Those were the golden years of Nokia and they had so many funky models with different form factors. Today’s mobile models fail to invoke that excitement in customers due to several factors that degrade customer experience while being significantly expensive imho.
