The law for apostasy is multilayered and multiprocedural, not a mob justice type of law, and won't be enacted if they keep it in their pants. Under Islamic law, leaving Islam is seen as not just a personal decision, but as a rejection of the fundamental legal and societal framework that governs the community. It's akin to saying, "I no longer believe in American law and refuse to follow it"-which could imply a willingness to disregard rules against crimes like murder, theft, or assault. Naturally, this would be considered a serious threat to society and thus would be punishable. Many non-Muslims may not realize that Islamic law functions similarly to constitutional law in modern nations. Islam is not limited to acts of worship like praying or fasting; it also encompasses laws that govern society and public conduct.

A clear argument could be: If Ford recommends a specific type of oil for their cars, and you choose to use water instead, your engine will likely fail. If you then encourage others to use water as well, you're spreading harmful misinformation and potentially damaging their property. In this case, the state would need to intervene to prevent further harm. Similarly, Islam outlines consequences for apostasy to prevent the spread of beliefs that could harm the community. The idea is that just as the state protects its citizens from misinformation about car maintenance, islamic teachings also aim to safeguard the community from harmful beliefs!

You mistake her resilience to BS for ignorance. She destroyed your boy. By _his_ logic, if _everyone_ converted from Islam to the truth then no human on the planet could justify living in the Middle East. Right? Just consider this mind experiment: suppose that tomorrow, every Muslim on the planet 'discovered' that Islam and Christianity are two contrivances created by a particular tribe for the purpose of making war on their enemies. Imagine that it turns out this particular tribe conceived of a plan to create two devout communities with opposing ideologies to act as their 'Praetorian Guard', if you will, destroying all those who stand in the way of their agenda to dominate the entire world. And suppose that your 'devoutness', along with that of the Christians, was in effect a 'kill switch' that was to be activated when the enemies of the 'tribe' had been destroyed in order to have the Muslims and Christians turn their swords on each other and by doing so, eliminating any possible _future_ opposition that could challenge their supremacy. Imagine that every Muslim came to that realization and decided to abandon their dogma on the basis that by adhering to the doctrine, they would be actively playing into the tribe's hands and achieving _their_ objectives on _their_ behalf and at the expense of _all_ Muslims and _all_ Christians. Given all of that, would you then advocate that all ex-Muslims should simply abandon the Middle-East and leave the territory in the hands of their _true_ enemy? Genuine question: if you believe that the devil would thwart God's Plan if he could then, if you were the devil, wouldn't _you_ attempt to create opposing and warring cults in Paradise?

My dear Muslim brothers and sisters, let’s take a moment to think about what our family in Gaza is going through. While we sleep in our beds, they lie on the ground, under open skies or in small tents, surrounded by the sounds of war. Many go days without clean water or enough food, and children cry out in hunger and fear. They live every moment under the threat of airstrikes, not knowing if they’ll see another day. Their homes are destroyed, their freedom taken away, and many are locked up unfairly in prisons. Let this remind us to thank Allah for the safety, shelter, and peace we have, which we often take for granted. Let’s pray every day for our brothers and sisters in Gaza, asking Allah to ease their pain, give them strength, and bring them justice. Never forget them, never stop praying for them; they are a part of us.

I used this video to form/improve my knowledge and explained it to my reverted wife. Thanks for the video. I wish the lady would slow down and think about the bigger picture than her immediate surroundings and pleasures. If you sit down with her and draw things out on a piece of paper, she will follow islam. I feel that way as that's what happened with my wife.
