The technocracy needs to be brought to court to answer a simple legal question. One, that once answered would force them to fix their issues with free speech. “Are you a publisher or a platform” If they are a publisher they become 100% RESPONSIBLE for everything posted If they are a platform they can not remove someone without them breaking the law. They want it both ways and they need to be forced to pick one

Right as I type this reply, We are born too late to explore the world. And we are born too early to explore outer space. We are only born at the right time to explore Cyberspace. So perhaps a few decades from now the technocracy will answer that simple legal question. Only time will tell.

Fix Bayonets Guardsmen.

@@Cross_Malaki the problems with that is 1. Good luck getting the entirety of the internet to do that (even parts of Africa can use it as well as the International Space Station) and 2. They still have your personal data even if you never used them. The scary part of a technocracy isn't that corporations become more corrupt, it's that they get so much power that they can ruin lives irregardless of your own fault. You liked that one guy who later turned out to be a racist? Your life is over my friend and they have the evidence to do that. Sure, they can't act on it without due cause but, as Enter addressed, they don't have to due to sapinas. Say, you were one of several names who was brought to the government's attention because they're looking for a pedophile something since these companies have to send entire blocks of names. There's nothing to stop the government from a quick search of your activity and seeing what you've done since you can't prove that they did until it's too late. The problem with democracy is that is CANNOT work with capitalism, they are antithetical. Trying to combine them is why corruption exists, people who have the money and\or to buy thier way out of repurcussions. You can't do anything because they're the damn government. It's a problem I've had with the world at large lately: we're voting people into power but those people might as well be buying thier way into power since our country leaders have basically no actual power.

@@Cross_Malaki Or use the Goverment ban hammer.
@lorddrayvon14262 жыл бұрын
@@kuki1274 the reason I say democracy and capitalism doesn't work is because of what democracy is meant to be. Democracy in theory is the ability for any ordinary bumfuck from any given country to elect a leader and have them make significant positive change with the interests of the everyfolk in mind. In reality, government leaders are little more than spokespeople for thier corrupt as fuck bedmates. You can also get away with any crime you want if you throw some money and suck the right amount of dicks. Just ask Disney and thier knowing financial support of war crimes against the Urgyur people in China. Double points if you being punished makes your powerful friends look bad such as Pc Simon Harwood who killed Ian Tomlinson in cold blood but never got any repercussions aside from being fired (even though he had previously been forced to leave after strong accusations of police brutality and he returned to the force as the Met's screening is fucked). A pillar of ideal democracy is seeing those who deserve it being punished no matter thier position. See, if Harwood was punished, the Met and CPS would look bad so they pretend there was no evidence. You can literally go on KZbin right now and find Tomlinson being knocked down to his death but no, the guy had two conveniently contradicting autopsies with one saying he died of a heart attack and the other of massive internal bleeding from a ruptured liver from the baton strike. I'm no doctor but how the fuck does a heart attack look like giant blood loss?! Law is less of a unifying set of unbiased rules and more like a group of optional suggestions that you don't have to follow if you have the right funds and "friends." THAT is why democracy doesn't work. Capitalism is the absolute anthesis of democracy since Capitalism is all about personal ownership and stepping on the little guy to get ahead regardless of erhics. I'm not saying that we should go the way of the USSR but the bastards who are fucking the world over the kitchen table need to actually have consequences instead of at most a punishment so minor that calling it a slap on the wrist is a collosal joke. "But it clearly works since countries like America and England have managed it perfectly well." America is the most vile country in the entire world hands down with no competition and England is experiencing the worst inflation in 14 years solely because of corruption. Hell, a few months ago, the government completely removed the maximum price cap that they put on energy bills in the UK because the cunts started bitching about profit margins. Now the cost of living is skyrocketing and the homeless rate is the worst it's been since 2008.

Thank you for the video resource. We may disagree politically, but I defend your right to say what you say so long as you do the same for me. *Hums Huwite Nation by Walt Bismarck*

As far as Steam goes, I personally don't care because in my own moral standard, I paid for the product completely legally and if my purchases just so happen to be taken away from me, thank God for Piracy

I think the problem with the way companies handle hate speech is how they define it. The way I see hate speech, is that if you are not allowed to slander/threaten/incite violence against an individual, you shouldn't be allowed to do that to a group of minorities. It's not about opinions, it's about the effect of what people say.

Who made the ASCII art? I miss that art style so much, it's really been fading o'er the years... Also, it's probably been mentioned before, but the whole "peace sign" thing is kinda mis-represented. The peace sign is still fine, it's when you turn your fingers around to show the back of them it's an obscene gesture. Whether this originated as a way for English archers to insult the French by showing them their drawing fingers whom the latter would allegedly cut off if the archers wwere caught or it being used as an example of cunnilingus or implying someone is the implied part of female anatomy is something people are likely to argue about ad infinitum. Sargon's "you can't be racist no Nazis" comment always cracks me up, and errytime I'm reminded of it I have to stop for a sec and make one loud singular laugh.

Also KZbin needs to change the algorithm so you can upload 2 or 3 times a month and it will act like u upload twice a day. I would also charge advertisers two or three times more and limit video ads to half as much screen time as they currently have.

My view of freedom of speech is simple. You have the right to be wrong. I tend to overthink with stuff so I look at consequences for potential actions, so I look at the idea to, say, ban a conspiracy theory, it would lead to a big problem where the theorist can say that there is a new point to their argument since most of it involves the idea that "the establishment" is after them, so banning them would only push it further

Thanks for this. Seriously. I don't agree with every small thing you say, but the time and effort put into technocracy is phenomenal, and is only becoming truer within the year since the first ep came out. Also, I've cited Technocracy more than once, once last year in a research paper while studying George Orwell's 1984, and literally at the moment on a paper about Privacy and Censorship. You've grown so much in the time you've been online and this Technocracy may be your magnum opus! I sincerely hope you consider doing more content like this in the future. It would be an atrocity if you don't aha!

It seems I'm a bit late to comment on this video. However, if it is okay, I think it would be useful to list out the points of demands made near the end of the video: 3:08:55 - 3:13:50. I tried to make all the points sound clear. Let me know if any changes are needed. - Internet access and social media access should be a human right - Banning access to internet or social media is a human rights violation (skewing results on information is just as bad) - When signing up for an account on any website, data collection should be turned off by default. - Users should be able to see who is doing what with their data - Users should be given access to their collected data upon request - Collected data should be immediately and permanently deleted upon request by the user - Social media accounts should be legally considered private property - When social media accounts are deleted/locked/etc, the social media website should provide a full report of when and why they had done so - Any digital purchase (digital product) should be downloadable at any given time in a completely usable format without proprietary software required. Any DRM used for these products should be placed on a dead-man switch or a grace time period. - The purchaser of a digital good should have all the same rights of a purchaser of a physical good, including being able to make copies and resell the original copy. - Any user must be able to easily end their use of a platform/website, and without requiring to go through an employee of the platform/website. - Websites like Google, Twitter and KZbin must determine if they are a platform or a publisher - Platforms are not responsible for what is on their platform - Platforms cannot censor people or editorialize (such as ban at will) - KZbin cannot close down comment sections - KZbin cannot link to Wikipedia or Encyclopædia Britannica for particular topics - Platforms cannot artificially inflate or reduce search results - Publishers can do what Platforms can't but are legally responsible for their content - KZbin, Google search engine, and Google Chrome must be under different companies
