I love watching goat births! I don't know what or why I do it but I catch myself helping the mammas push! I guess I am just the odd one in the family! Have you noticed on the birthing days the goats just all of a sudden become seriously modest? They point their butts away from the camera/ cameras and humans and point it at the wall! Bahahaha! EDIT: ROTFL! Did she bubble you when you wiped the baby girls face with the towel? Or kinda looked like that's what she did so it must have annoyed her lol! My sides and jaws hurt from laughing so hard! Tears runnin down my face, it's crazy! Ice never seen a goat do that b4! Thank you for the birthing video, it made me smile in most parts, the rest was tears n good pain hahahaha!

Hi, is that true, lamancha give milk for 2 years non stop?
@TheNamelessHomestead3 жыл бұрын
Many goats can produce for several years without being rebred and that is a trait you see in high performing dairy breeds like the LaMancha 😀 but to get this trait you have to buy high quality performance dairy lines that are bred very well

I have Lamonchas and yes. I also have a mini Alpine that has been in milk for two years and gives 3 lbs plus per milking right now.

She was in no destress at all you walnut. This was a text book perfect kidding in every way. I have friends who are vets who I have shared this video with and they have used it to show students what a perfect kidding looks like. Any intervention I would have done here would have needlessly disturbed a flawless kidding and could easily CAUSE complications. Seriously man how are you this confadent and this ignorant at the same time? Lol.
@sofiabent9129 Жыл бұрын
@@TheNamelessHomestead Only a true walnut spells confident wrong. There is nothing wrong with helping, it doesn't and can't cause harm unless you're an idiot or something which quite possibly you are. I am glad my goats are not in your care.

Watch how they deliver goats in the Phillipines the Shepard assists the goat when it first starts to push and within one minute that goat is delivered and that goat didn't rip her insides out like the people do on you tube. This goat has never existed in the wild never and it always is relying on its Shepard for everything they hesitate and even push back from delivering the goat because they are waiting for their Shepard to take control

You don't know of the baby is in distress or not you can't see if the chord is attached you should of pulled the kid when it started.
@TheNamelessHomestead Жыл бұрын
You can tell if a kid is in distress or not in MANY ways before it is fully born. You can check for a pulse in the ankle, you can pinch a hoof lightly to check reflexes, of the face/nose of the kid is exposed you can check the coloring of the gums to determine oxygenation. Literally SO many ways. Also with a kidding this smooth and fast there was no reason to expect distress in any way. Penny is a champ and a proven Dam who knows what she is doing.
@josephbooth1055 Жыл бұрын
If you think she's not tearing her body that's what goats do during birth is tear so you multiply the size of the baby by how long it take the goat to kid she's torn however length of time she takes to kidits inhumane to just let a poor animal sit their and rip and tear her insides
@TheNamelessHomestead Жыл бұрын
This goat had a completely intact perineum as seen in this video. You have zero idea of what you are talking about.

Im fixing to check you really why leaving a goat in Pain just deliver the kid the fact you just sit their why the goat is in distress is inhumane that goat is in pin and is having trouble delivering her kid and you just ignore that birth for animal birth is very painful.

Birth vlog informative. The rest was horrid. Your frequent negative interaction with that animal was ridiculous. Animals have their young oon there own time frame. Yes I am a city girl but your interactions were anxiety evoking. No need to come back at me or berate me I wasn't subscriber before watching you and I won't be after.
