We have a waifs and strays type xmas and new year. We visit each other or have a gathering at whoever has the most spaceous house :) music and shared lunch. Good fun. Friendships are most important.

Twas just a day after Christmas, and all through the locks, not an engine was running, but some just winding their clocks. As a new year is coming, I must just admit, I look forward to Thursday, and Heidi a bit. I dream of her life, with Bonnie beside, and thank her for taking me on a narrow boat ride. She shares her life freely, as she cruises the cut, with her first mate little Bonnie, just know she's no mutt. So drink up me hardy, as I raise up my cup high, and thank God she rescued Bonnie, no lie. The only thing missing is a patch on the eye, with a leg made of of wood, and a rum at her side. I wish you good fortune, as a new year ahead, and if I don't leave a comment, you'll know I am dead.😜 Happy New Year Heidi, and to all that read this. God bless us all.

Heidi, your niece and nephews just love, Bonnie. It brought tears to my eyes, when I saw them petting her and loving her. It’s so great to see.. It just makes me miss my dog even more. I'm a very optimistic, independent, positive-thinking person, but when I watch your videos I feel like I have a lot to learn! I live far away from what's left of my family, and my parents have been gone for many years. I live alone (by firm choice!), but it's never an issue with me. I’ve been on my own this year, my wife passed away at the end of October after 48 years together. My family live away so although we have Skyped a lot it’s not the same as having them close by. My neighbour has been coming round for a coffee every morning since I came home from hospital alone, he’s been so kind and has helped me so much to get through this phase of my grieving process.

Merry Christmas I went to the Alexander pub in Wimbledon for a free Christmas meal for lonely people. It was the best thing ever my heart is full and full of Christmas cheer. Met some fantastic people from all walks of life and had a wonderful meal , free pints and presents. Happy New Year x
