My dog have serious diarrhoea with igd n thicker colon this 5 mon he only better on Sept but Oct 10 his diarrhoea come back with blood n jelly since June until now after changing another vet they given antibiotics (metronidazole medication after injections b12 plus eating this medication he not felling well n keep on vomiting w water only even he eat his dinner after 30min later , really don’t How to help him seeing like vry I’m comfortable hope doctor Katie can help him Tks u a lot for advice what can help to make him more happy n comfortable

Is it a concern to take L Glutamine on a reg long term basis for the liver and kidneys? Seems like it's quite taxing on those organs? There's a study on a human having elevated liver enzymes on a l-glutamine supplement after a week or something...

What do you suggest if you see undigested food in the diarrhea?

Was it bone fragments? Sometimes too much bone at once can overwhelm them and they cannot digest it all. It could also mean she needs digestive enzymes.

@@mamabear9389 yes it was bone the other day after I gave her a raw duck foot. Maybe it was too big. But yesterday she had diarrhea too and I saw a few whole wild blueberries in it which is in her food I ordered the throne gut health supp to see if it helps and gonna try to get her some more detox supporting herbs
