I really hope they continue it with James Wan being the next director . I had enough of DGG cheesy antics . There was nothing scary about Halloween 2018, HK, and HE. The 1978 film is so simple yet still creepy. Can we please have that feeling back again? It really can't end like that. The fans deserve something much more realistic and suspenseful then this.

If you don’t want cheesiness then don’t nominate James Wan for director. Everything he does is cheesy. I agree with the newer movies not being very scary though. Ends was more of a sad drama than a horror movie.

I disagree on 2018 and Kills they had scary or creepy moments but then scary and creepy is relative. What may not be scary to you may be for someone else and vice versa at any rate, the franchise in general I'd say the concept is scary because the dude doesn't die(at least the real MM not this watered down crap in Ends) what DGG screwed up on was the lore one second making Michael seem supernatural then saying "no he's human" and then just disrespecting him all together in this movie, considering even in his own vision/ timeline of Halloween what Michael has endured to be killed by a sliced neck and wrists was so stupid aside from the movies many other flaws End's had...whatever they give us next in the future, Michael needs to be like the other timelines an immortal, unkillable supernatural evil and *not* a damn human slightly stronger than everyone else.

In 2018 she was literally just the new Laurie, and then in Kills she was a complete idiot who wanted vengeance but had no foresight. In Ends she doesn’t make smart decisions, but she never has. It also shows her handling with the grief of losing her mother and father a lot more in Ends.
