@PanAfrican Spirit - when Europeans say "Europe for Europeans" they are called racists, bigots and fascists. But on every other continent or in every other country it is ok to say f.ex,. China for the chinese! Taiwan for the taiwanese! Africa for africans! Brazil for brazilians! Mexico for mexicans! etc. The only race that is not allowed to want to have their own countries to themselves, are europeans and scandinavians.

Legit question here. I agree Africa must put Africa first. Nothing wrong with working with others if the split is even. How do you feel about an African American who respects the motherland simply because it’s where our unknown ancestors come from investing in Africa and what would you say are countries who are freindly to African Americans because I have heard good and bad about views and treatment of African Americans in Africa . I want to go to Africa but I honestly never been .

As an “African” I do not find it complimentary that our land is only envied and respected on the basis of its potential to be exploited for monetary purposes while neglecting the people who live on it. There’s almost seem to be a new scramble for Africa as the west have come to the realisation that their economy is being negatively affected by Africa’s economic growth.

Prioritize paying off high-interest debt and establishing an emergency fund. I listened keenly as i watched this video, and also read few comments here, and I ask myself; WHAT DO WE WANT AS AFRICANS? Are we focused on exploring the wide range of opportunities we have in Africa or on the fact that we have foreigners who come to tap into our wealthy land? Life abhors vacuum, the world is a global market, individuals and companies are seeking opportunities to make profit even as they add value to the way of living. I challenge us as Africans, rather than see foreigners as threats, lets sit up, and arise to take responsibility for the growth and development we seek in our land. An African can be the next Big ALIBABA here in Africa. Let's explore the unlimited opportunities we have in Africa and we won't have to bother about foreigners. I hope this makes sense, and inspires us. 👌

@ Le' Quillar Jones ...I know how you feel. It is terrible when you have irresponsible, unintelligent leaders. The answer is to educate the young people (15 - 25 y.o.) and the children. If every adult african pours all knowledge they have into ALL the children of the village or city, it WILL make a HUGE difference. Especially teaching them about finances and starting their own businesses. They can do it ... if they are surrounded by adults who encourage, help, motivate and support them.

I am extremely dissapointed in the voters, the politicians and the EU, who facilitated this ethnic cleansing of native europeans. I guess you experience the same in Africa now? Chinese pouring in? Replacing the natives by foreigners is Ethnic cleansing. The natives are being pushed out. I don't know why the narrative "Future opportunities/ potential in Africa" yet Africa has always been exploited by the West, supranational corporations and lately, the East is making ground. For Africans, the politicians are embezzling trillions through corruption deals with local big companies and the money is moved abroad to developed countries...the people left out in all this are the ordinary Africans, who are left languishing in poverty, without access to basic needs, being taken advantage of with low wages and very hard work...so yeah, "this opportunity in Africa" is not something new, there has always "been opportunity and potential in Africa" but not for the ordinary masses, but for the Big local companies, global corporations, politicians and Africa's elite. Motivation is good, but blatant optimism even when presented with facts is just wishful thinking, which never does anyone any good.

Dear africans, i went to africa 4,5 yrd back on medical mission. It was amazing experience. What a lovely people. african people should know that this land is blessed by god with beautiful nature. Please dont follow western way of living. Protect your nature. Our expectations are unlimited n western way of living will destroy the nature n mind. You are the people, whose ancestors were originator of humans across the world. Be proud about it. Maintain your old way of living n just integrate with technology.. people will come for ur minerals, lands n destroy you.. protect ur identity.. ❤

I am in one of the african countries now, i came here to work at an executive level. What i observe is a modern colonisation going on. There are three layers: 1.The business owners: majority of the big business owners are not from africa, they are expats 2.The managerial level are also expats 3.The labourers and operators are local people. I kind of feel its exploitation, we come in here, getting work done by these people, source material from this local, and selling to the same people and taking the profit

If he come into Africa and need to build roads and trains, those roads and trains shall also be for public use. If he come with mindset to build private communities only for Chinese people, then he will be sent back home because he will not be allowed to build a Chinatown in Africa. If he come to Africa thinking he is going to have his own private security forces, then he will be sent back home with his occupiers mindset. If he come with the mindset of a separatist mindset, he will be sent back home before he can establish his business their. If he comes with a mindset to make roads and put up Chinese signs and think he will build private parks and roadways, etc. the government shall regulate him to make all properties such as roads and signs and trains all public property. They will not be allowed to bring a apartheid in Africa. It will not happen here anymore and those across the continent shall remove them and take their land they had purchased with bad intentions.

@@sachaarthurton6451 I mean Jack Ma was talking about africans to rise up. The West was Never interested in Africa development, just exploitation and status quo so they can keep exploiting for centuries to come. You either Rise Up or stay poor and helpless like the West intend you to.

If he comes and invest in Africa. Who will be his competitors . You all will be a pool of labourers. No sensible growth. Just an uncharted territory of labourers on our own land. This is the greatest pain of Africa
