I love the ending of this episode so much. The fact that the creators showed enough restraint to save the full theme song for this one moment is so great, especially since the song itself is damn good. Any lesser director and showrunner would overuse the theme, but the fact that they never used it until the PENULTIMATE episode in a five season show is pretty wild.

Three things that Walter White realized about what he saw on the TV: 1. Gray Matters were giving money away to those who were affected by drug abuse as a charity event. 2. Blue Meth was still being sold even though Heisenberg already quit, leading to Walt realizing that Jesse is still alive. 3. They said that Walt had no contribution to the company that he helped made, this gave him motivation to put these people in their place. I f*cking love this show 😵

I love that ending. It's one of the best endings in the series, and that's saying something considering how amazing this series is. That scene with Flynn telling Walt he wish he would just die actually made me feel bad for Walt. Then when he's at his lowest and is ready to give up he sees the Schwartz's talking about him, diminishing him and attacking his ego. Then we see there's still a little Heisenberg in there. It's almost like we came full circle to where Heisenberg came from in the first place. The build up of the theme music at the end was just perfect. Aaron Paul's acting in that scene in the car is all the proof you need that he deserved every Emmy ge won for this show. His raw emotion was so unbelievable it was actually totally believable, if that makes any sense.

Maybe The saddest, most devastating tv episode of all time. It’s a portrayal of the utter destruction of all that one held dear, it’s all roads ended, good times completely gone never to return, the brutal killing of love, with all hope forever lost. Only pain, loneliness, devastation, loss and an empty, hallowed out existence remain. It’s the running tab come due. When I rewatch BB every year, I often cannot watch this one episode, just because it’s utterly soul crushing. To me, it’s deliberate, quiet devastation (even in the way the silencer sounds so hushed in the pulled back scene of poor Andrea) in a tragic stillness of absolute and final loss hits me even harder than Ozymandias. It’s also very underrated.

BCS is fun, but man... it's just so much backstory. From the beginning of that show, I've wanted to see Saul Goodman getting into crazy situations helping out other criminals. I want to see him learn to be a "criminal lawyer", to have clients he advised well that get too greedy and get caught, or dumb criminals who listen to him and get out of trouble due to his legal trickery... I want more of the kind of help that Saul provided to Walt and Jesse. It's now been nearly FIVE YEARS since BCS premiered and we still haven't gotten one second of Saul Goodman crazyness. I'm really worried that season 5 will just lead to him getting set up in Albuquerque under the name Saul Goodman, then we'll get some tiny montage of him helping criminals and they'll end it with him meeting Walt and Jesse.... basically skipping past everything in Saul's story that I wanted to see. I don't really care about long history of Slippin Jimmy... I want full out Saul Goodman hijinks, helping criminals avoid the law. I hope season 5 will finally deliver it.

Seems like some people don't understand what Gretchen and Elliot were doing in that interview. It was damage control 101. PR to save the image of their company. Pretty normal for the owners of a company to speak out against their involvement with a big drug kingpin.
@mordirit87275 жыл бұрын
It seems like a silly lie though; I mean, Elliot and Walter share a Nobel prize for the discovery of the first chemical compounds the company was based on selling, don't they? We see it at the start of the first episode; so, how can you deny that? Would have been smarter to say he used to be a huge help, but all the drug stuff happened later in life after Walter moved away from the company... _But_ if they had said that we wouldn't have had the flaming inferno of vengeance coming for them in the next episode from Walt =p
@chrissmith60975 жыл бұрын
They didn’t go there to talk about Walter White. This was supposed to be about their newly implemented addict treatment program. It’s the interviewer who brings up Walter White and refuses to let it go. It’s also not damage control because everything Gretchen and Elliot say is accurate and truthful. Water didn’t become a drug kingpin until 20 years after he left Gray Matters. Walter came up with the name and not much else (everyone is always vague and evasive when it comes to the science/formula he supposedly invented, but they’re all clear about who came up with the name). Walter left Gray Matters and sold his portion before the company got big, so he has no claim to it now nor did he have any involvement with its success.

Then they revealed that blue meth, representing his pride, was still being produced and distributed out there by someone else. Finally they said that Walter White had gone forever. Heisenberg was all that left. Thank you mr and mrs Elliott. When Walt was about to give up, you two went on TV and pushed him. Rather than rot in prison, Walt died a badass among his proud product and corpses of scumbags. Of course he even saved Pinkman, a good man with a good heart. Mr. Lambert, huh? Wtf Ed you used Walt's wife's maiden name as his new surname? Probably a coincidence, but lol.

I feel like Hannah's death note statement at the end is a biiiiiiig stretch "without death note there would be no breaking bad"

Just imagine Brock having to find his mother like that. Truthfully because of Jesse everyone Brock love is dead
@kevincos44505 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's all Jesse's fault. Not the dealers who got his brother involved in drugs. Not the psychopath who executed his mother just because Jesse tried to escape. Not Walt, who told Jack about Andrea and Brock. Its ALL because of Jesse.

Yeah let's just blame everything on Jesse instead of Walt. That's fair 😒

I don't understand why you guys watched "El Camino" already? When you haven't finished the series.
