This was a very entertaining reaction watch. Lots of WTF moments: Darla in Angel's bedroom, Deevak the neckless demon, the sudden public kidnapping, the hotel exploding, Lilah getting nailed by that lamp, and particularly Angel headbutting that disguisted vamp. I've never watched these early seasons before but they're a lot of fun.

I don't know if it's intentional but the talk about paying Gunn, I always see it as a sign of its time. Informal work has always existed but it's only more recently that people aren't as awkward when talking about it. I remember hearing somewhat similar conversations involving paying people for smaller jobs, even before the age of "can you look into my computer?" for the 3rd time in a month.

Whitney Houston was a relative and Whitney's mom was one of her backup singers!! The 2nd story was definitely inspired by Stephen King's Carrie! Except Carrie was emotionally and physically abused by her mom.

As a Buffyverse superfan the Normies are my favorite group to rewatch both shows. I'm down with Angel and I actually watched the Angel patreon reactions up to season 5, I'm enjoying watching the edited reactions tho. I really like them since it's been so long since I've seen the original Angel reactions. Sad that they are almost coming to the end of the road with Angel it'll still be a few more months tho since it's one episode a week but it's on the way. Enjoy em while you can folks!

@@DJZ64X When you've watched (the shows), read (the comics), and listened to (the audio drama) as often as I have it isn't always necessary to watch/read/listen to every second, and can skip parts you don't like. They are watched/read/listened to sparingly to keep me reminded and informed. I know many people who do this. I, personally, am not a fan of _First Impressions._ If you are that's great. I'm not. The pink helmet moment is my only favorite part.

Funny watching theories be wrong and the name recognition fails of famous people during that time. Any guy dreaming of sleeping with a woman and the same exact woman is sleeping with you in real life would never call it assault. It would be a Dream Come True. There’s also a reason why the tv shows and movies were more successful during that time period and earlier. Scripts were completely written freely because people were smart enough not to take any language seriously. No one had a chip on their shoulder or an ax to grind with another person like the writers of shows, movies, and video games(They really had Freedom of Speech). Many things are extremely watered down and feel generic in the 2020s.
