Also I think the reason the director rejects the idea of one of the supers being the one who killed them is because he wants to keep it in closed circles. He actually does not breathe in space at all because of his super lungs he can actually hold his breath for an extremely long time without dying. So yes he actually does hold his breath when he goes outside the atmosphere or underwater without a special suit.

Eve is more Starfire with a bit of Lantern power than 'Mary-Jane', the rest's powers are rather self-explanatory. Nolan would want his suit back quickly though, since it's covered in all the Guardians' blood...

To be fair to Omni-man in this instance: that civilisation was an invading force that had to be repelled on 3 separate occasion, which was DECADES in their time, they got beaten while being aggressors and held onto that grudge for a few decades then tried again....then again, it's possible like 90 of their years passed and they were STILL intent on invading, and they were getting better each time because of how fast their technology was improving, so he decided to not only give them a good reason to never come back, he also probably at least set them back to the dark ages with the sheer amount of carnage he wrought. I get that it's really cruel to near-genocide their species, but it's possible that if they were allowed to escape again and improve more, then maybe they couldn't have been stopped and they would have done the same thing to humanity.
