After watching this video it made me realize how tragic and unavoidable the conflict with Angstrom Levy was. If they simply communicated more and figured out their goals alligned rather than fight right away, Mark could of advanced earth and his multivers allies' technology exponentially therefore giving them a greater chance against the viltrumites. Instead Angstrom destroyed his plan and in doing so merged his mind with all the other multiverse Angstroms and now has a mixed recollection of all of their memories of Mark siding with Nolan and conquering Earth. Therefore he perceives Mark as an enemy. They could of been great friends.

There's more than just trying to prevent them being fearful for yourself if you're trying to avoid telling your significant other you're a Super Hero, though it's a part of it. 1. You're asking them to LIE for you (Saying nothing is omission, which is still technically lying if you're being questioned about it). You've just told them that you're a Super Hero, that you go around saving lives and beating people up. Maybe they had a positive reaction, maybe not, but now they know. Now they have to go about their days with the knowledge that you do these fantastic things and refrain from telling people about it. It sounds simple, but it isn't. This isn't just not telling Mom that your brother stole a cookie, this is living with the knowledge that your partner has a whole other life. A life that has ups and downs, enemies and allies, fans and haters and countless problems. People make mistakes, they're a part of life, but making a mistake with a secret like this will cause a massive issue, one that will definitely not be resolved quickly. 2. As you mentioned, they will now worry about you. They probably would be before, if a disaster just happened and you can't be reached. But now they know you could be in the thick of it. That you're saving people from the crumbling building, that you're taking bullets for people, that you're in the direct line of fire with the intent of being hit to prevent someone else from taking it. They know now that you are ACTIVELY throwing your life on the line, willingly taking hits that would kill a normal person, and that you have no intention of stopping. Sure, there are a few good things to come of this, but do they outweigh the bad?
