Great video, Martin. It's a perfect break from watching the everyday news lately. Our own snow cover is disappearing fast now. Yours may melt soon as well. I wanted to share the name of a country singer that popped up while in KZbin. His name is Richard Lynch, and is he ever GOOD. Maybe you've possibly heard him. He has that 'OLD COUNTRY' sound with fiddles and steel guitar...the kind of music the Jamestown 600 am station plays. I played his music for my son last night. If you can't get You Tube up there...maybe you can track him down when you get back home. One of his best songs is titled "They Don't Play 'Em Like That ". It captures what your last video shared...listening to great 'Old Country' music on a distant station. You're not only inspiring a nice lifestyle up there, you're also alerting folks to GREAT MUSIC. @TheNorthwoodsman12 жыл бұрын
Personal choice on skis or snowshoes. Since I will be using the same trail again I use the big wide skis as they are almost snowshoes anyway. Normal skis are pretty useless in that really deep stuff. There was more snow on one of my visits years ago and even deeper than that one year I opted to just stay away because of its depths.

The Spruce Grouse eat needles and the Ruffed Grouse eat buds so do not go hungry. Grit is harder for them to find with that much snow as any trees tipped up with gravel exposed has been buried too deep.
