I would like you to know that I have never, not once in my life, ever posted a comment to KZbin. But today, for the first time in my life, I am posting a comment just to thank you for all your time, effort and patience in making these videos. I can honestly say, that my success in medical school will be attributed to these unbelievably helpful videos. I can say honestly that I UNDERSTAND anatomy more than just memorizing facts. Thank you.

Thank you so much Dr Morton for these highly useful lectures. They are a literal lifesaver for me as I don't have time to read my textbooks. They are short, high yield and make me understand the concepts easily. Truly grateful for your efforts.

Still in love with NA. I went to my podiatry school class raving about him and turns out one of my classmates went to undergrad at Utah and had anatomy with one of your colleagues. NA is a nationwide anatomy celebrity lol

Hi. I enjoy your videos, but after reviewing my class notes and textbook, I think your mention that the add magnus hamstring part originates at the pubis is mixed up with the add part. I know it doesn't make sense, but according to Moore's essential anatomy, the ham part originates at the ischial tub and inserts on the- oddly named- add tub of the femur- allowing it to extend the hip (pull the leg towards the butt). The add part somehow twists around the hammy part, originating on the pubis and inserting on the linea aspera, only adducting. I know spacially that is all weird... but in terms of action it makes sense. The hammy part cannot pull the leg backwards if it inserts on the pubis. Thats just impossible.

Love the videos! They are so well done. Quick question-is the Adductor Magnus innervated by the Obturator nerve and Sciatic nerve, not the tibial nerve, unless they are the same nerve (sciatic and tibial)?
@TheNotedAnatomist4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The adductor Magness muscle is dually innervated by the obturator and common fibular nerve

So which exercise will target these? My external thighs are pretty big but the inner thighs (adductors) are comparatively under-developed, making my legs look feminine

what about the pectineus muscle
