Love this! I actually did my hair like this yesterday but it didn't turn out as well as yours did. Maybe it's because I used flexi rods instead of perm rods. I also didn't use a moisturizer which I probably should have. Anyways your fro is beautiful ❤️

yas! this turned out beautiful. and good to hear it only took you 20-30 min to twist up bc girlllll i can be lazy at night. I need to invest in some perm rods and try this out.

your hair is so pretty!! I use the LCO method too, and it's convenient for me. I'm not big on curl definition. I just want stretched, moisturized hair so that I can make my big afro, or puff lol. I'm thinking about getting a satin lined cap....makes life easier, especially for a college student like me. New subbie!!
@mslady15219 жыл бұрын

I love bonnets too, they're very comfy lol. It's just not appealing for when I want to go out in public though, so I'm seriously considering in investing in the slap caps.Kia O'Hara

That is true. I don't wear head "gear" out for the most part but if I did I def wouldn't want it to look like some old drawls (like that dusty bonnet she showed). Lol

Hey, KIA!!! I have watched your styling vids non stop, preparing myself to fro it out around Jan of next year. lol! I have a question... In this video, you've shown us how you preserve your hair at night, but how did you style it originally? Did you flat twist the front for the initial set of this style? (like you did in your style recreation video)... I'm curious to know, because there is a subtle but detectable variation in the overall shape of the two sets. I prefer the round, untamed, LARGE shape that you have in the beginning of this video.
@mssweetcravings9 жыл бұрын
quick question because I too like volume...do you by any chance blow dry your hair and then do this style after you wash it????? because if I wash my hair it just shrinks and has no bounce... unless I lightly blow dry and then do the LCO method

Omg so I tried this style for a interview I had thinking it's going to come out on point and it did not. It looked a mess and you and me have the same type of hair idk what I did wrong. The only thing I did different was use bigger perm rods .

Hi question . I've heard of the LOC method however you switched the last two . Is there any reason why you switched it around . Thanks 🙂
@mslady15219 жыл бұрын
+Naeema Muhammad Some people like to put on items in this order liquid, oil and then conditioner (LOC) but other like to seal the conditioner in also which is liquid, conditioner then oil (LCO). It depends on YOUR hair. I have found for my hair that oil at the END works better for me (it felt smoother the next day).

I need help 😔😟 I love your hair style. I started wearing my hair similar and used you styling technique back in 2015. Now my hair seems not to act right. I can't get that fullness at the top of my head. The curl won't act right from the rod. It so annoying. Do you ever experience what I can only explained as your hair being tired of a style and what do you do when your hair isn't cooperating???

I have a VERY important question! Soooo, did you blow dry your hair when you first began the style? or any other stretching method? or no? If you did do you have a tutorial on it?
