I love that both Michael and Dwight had elements of Jim and Pam’s proposal in their proposals. Michael and Holly had “rain” and Dwight and Angela were on the side of the road. It’s maybe not intentional but I like to think that the show is implying that when Michael and Dwight were acting more like Jim, rather than their usual selves, they found their Pam.
@arcanacandy10 күн бұрын
11 months old but i just couldn't let this go sorry lol but what a horrible take! "When you act more like someone you aren't, you find your true love!" What?? A crazy car chase and cutting off your intended, and a happy accident with the fire sprinklers wasn't Dwight or Michael acting more like Jim - they Were being themselves, which is why it worked. Their crazy weird selves. Any echoes or similarities to Jim and Pam's proposal is more like a confirmation that this is it - this is the right proposal to the right person for these couples.

Does this wedding conducted in german mean that Angela's wedding with the senator was null?
@Writer611 ай бұрын
I remember Angela saying something to Andy about having a legal matter to clear up as soon as she had found out that she and Dwight had been married in a German wedding ceremony. I'm pretty sure that means Angela got an annulment for that wedding to Dwight; so her marriage to the senator would be valid. Personally, it always really bugged me that Angela's first marriage to Dwight could possibly be seen as legally valid; given the way Dwight not only tricked Angela into it, Dwight also tricked Andy into serving as a witness on the marriage license. I know that we're talking about a TV show here, and that this is all supposed to just be for comedy and entertainment, and that we should all probably just suspend our disbelief; but this storyline, along with a lot of the insane things that Dwight did on the show, and was able to get away with, can really get me all riled up sometimes.
