This is a beautiful story. As a Cuban, I am very aware of what she's talking about. My family is very into Santeria. They used to do their practices on me when I was younger. I remember that feeling of heaviness she was talking about. Feeling very anxious and wanting to speak, but I couldn't... almost as if someone was holding my voice box down. It was scary. Years later, when I met my husband things changed because he introduce me to Christianity. I learned about Jesus and I surrendered my life to him. Jesus is King. HE is a redeemer! Breaking the addiction of pornography as a Christian is really tough. I have to deliver myself at least once a week to break any remaining bondages. I have a similar story, my dad was obsessed with porn and I got exposed to it at a very young age. I thought it was normal until I met my wife 4 years ago, and she’s helped me with it every step of the way. She basically had to tell me like no this isn’t normal and that I should go to church with her. I got baptized but it seemed like my problems only got more intense. Now I live a different life and we have 3 amazing children. My son won’t go through what I went through because now I lead my family through Christ and I’m in the word and applying it to my life. I go to god and Jesus Christ about everything. This fallen world we live in is so wicked and your faith has to be strong. All glory to Jesus.
