Y'all are now ready for The Four Horsemen from this same album. It's one of their most underrated (*edit: okay, so not really underrated because most Metallica fans really love and appreciate this jam, but it’s underrated compared to Ride The Lightning or MOP) Please do it next! I promise you will not be disappointed.

The lead singer of MegaDeth Dave Mustaine was the original Lead Guitarist for Metallica in their early days but he got kicked out of the band. Then they replaced him with Kirk Hammett. The bassist has changed several times throughout the years but Cliff Burton was the original but he tragically was killed in a bus accident in Sweden. After Cliff was Jason Newstead and then Robert Trujillo.

Back in the day none of these songs were played on the radio, it was pretty much underground, cassette tapes mailed around the country. They still only play a select few on the radio to this day, you have to listen to the whole albums to hear the rest of the great songs they made. 🤘🏻

This is the unfortunate truth. For so long, Radio, and later channels like MTV dictated what people were exposed to, and what those stations play largely depended on advertisement, sponsorship, and money flowing from larger record labels. That's why genres like pop, which are actually fairly terrible, is so much more common.

@@kesslerlopez4254 Sorry if u got to translate this man!

Also, a GREAT example for this is the iconic The Four Horsemen from Metallica. Before Mustaine was kicked out, the song was The Mechanix. On the first Megadeth record, they play the original song, but a lot faster.

He was a mean drunk when he was young and was fired from the band, replaced by the current Kirk Hammett. The Seek and destroy riff was written by Dave Mustaine. Kirk Hammet is the lead guitarist. James Hetfield is the rhythm guitarist. The original bassist, the one on the first 3 albums through Master of Puppets, was Cliff Burton. He died on tour in Sweden when their bus flipped over on black ice in 1986. He was replaced by Jason Newsted who was with them through the St Anger album. Hey. New subscriber. I love seeing you guys in college and experiencing this stuff for the first time. I was dying when one of you said we had to reply in MLA format. I use APA though. 😂 Been a fan of rock and metal for almost 40 years. Dave Mustaine from Megadeth was originally in Metallica and shares songwriting credits for several songs on Kill ‘Em All and Ride the Lightning. He was kicked out for being a jerk alcoholic. The silver lining is that he went and created Megadeth. Lars and James then went and recruited lead guitarist Kirk Hammett from the Band, Exodus, which you should totally check out. Old school thrash metal at its finest. They (and this is critical) also recruited bassist Cliff Burton. That is the the core, classic lineup. This lasted through the album, Master of Puppets. Sadly, Cliff was killed in a bus accident on the tour. The band then got Jason Newsted from the band Flotsam and Jetsam to play bass for many years. He eventually left and was replaced by Rob Trujillo, the current bass player. Metallica are unquestionably masters of their art, but they’re not flawless. After the …And Justice for All album, they released the “Black” album. It was their most commercially successful album, but there is still division among fans regarding whether or not the band sold out. After that, they got weird and released some albums that are generally considered to be inferior: Load, Reload and St. Anger. Those are, at the very least, disappointing after hearing the good stuff. James went and took singing lessons and changed his vocal style after the Black Album. Eventually, they found their footing again with the album Death Magnetic. The newest album, Hardwired to Self Destruct is also pretty good and shows influences from throughout their career. You can’t go wrong listening to these earlier albums. Just be wary of the newer ones. Try the songs Fuel, My Apocalypse, Atlas Rise and Spit Out the Bone for some of the decent newer songs. Hope this helps. Rock on!

The title for this album was originally meant to be, "Metal Up Your Ass". No one would produce it. Kill 'Em All refers to all the brass in the industry. This album was released without singles. They did not have an album that included a "single" till Justice (...And Justice For All). Which was the album that was the beginning of the end for the respect their original fan base had for them.

Yo I love metal AND rap... and I seen far more violence and deaths at rap concerts than I ever seen at a metal concert! The worst you will see at a metal concert is someone cop a smack in the mouth...but damn at rap concerts I seen guns pulled and stabbings bro! The metal community generally looks after each other, someone goes down in the mosh pit ten people there to lift em up...rap concert if you wearing the wrong colours it's group beatdowns. You want a good time go to a metal concert, take some greenery and have a good time. You wanna get busy and partake in some violence hit a rapper gig, straight up.

So the stat that people died at that concert is a popular mistaken stat. There were people seriously hurt and hospitalized, however no one actually died. Somehow it got reported that there were like 50 deaths because I believe the Russian translation from the report made it sound that way as it said casualties. However casualties means injured or dead. But no one actually died but there were like 50 people hospitalized

I don't know if it's because we hear the sound through your microphone but you should know that all music needs to be played at the right levels to be appreciated properly. If you got no bass for rap, it sounds bad. If you are missing either bass or treb for metal, it sounds bad.
