I met Brad's mom when I went through my recovery stage. She's a nurse. She told me "Life is supposed to be long, go out there and live it" And I did! I have a kiddo now and a little family. Grateful for her words. I took them to heart and I never went back to heroin. I'm 10 years clean! I was in the hospital for my arm being messed up from drugs.

I couldn't even begin to count how many times I listened to this track, to this entire album, hanging out with the best friends anyone could ever hope to have on those random lazy hot and humid summer nights in our backyard just laughing and hanging out. No drama. No money. Nowhere to go. Couldn't ask for anything more. It's too bad everything's so sad now. But yeah, those days were amazing. And Sublime was such a huge part of them. For the rest of my life, they'll be some of the best memories I'll ever get to have.

I know the feeling man I really do. Was stationed in Germany in the late 90s. In the summer we would have big cookouts under a gazebo behind our barracks. It would start with a couple guys having beers and wings and evolve in to around 50-60 people just hanging out and having a blast. Sublime would play almost the whole time. Every color of person from different areas of the country (and world actually) just getting along having fun. Best times of my life with friends I haven’t seen in 20+ years but I still talk to from time to time. Sublime will always remind me of those days and how great life can be if everyone just chilled and got along. Stay frosty

Keep that vibe going - Check out Roots Reggae if you like this. Wailing Souls did the original riddim for this Pawn Shop song with "War Deh Round a John Shop". Once the Roots bite you, you never go back. What's great is a nice speaker system with a subwoofer so you FEEL that bassline in your bones... A feeling like no other around, as one of my favorite songs describes it. (Roots Music by Ooklah the Moc)

this was the first sublime song i have a memory of listening to and knowing it was sublime. i think i was around six to seven years old, coming back from my swim practice back in like 2012; my step father picked me up in his silver Chevrolet cruise, it was super sunny out in the island, so we rolled out the windows and opened the sunroof; i was wrapped in my towel, my bathing suit on and my glasses too. He blasted the usual, sublime, sublime with rome and dirty heads. i remember how instantly i started liking the song and from then on it easily became my favourite. Sublime and sublime with rome are one of the few (and only) memories i allow myself (and am able to) remember from my shitty childhood. sublime was always playing as far as i can remember; so much so that my best friend and i connected and retook our friendship now that we're older because we are both the *only* people *we know* irl that know the band; from then on it's only been 40 oz of freedom and getting high while we listen to two joints lmao. this band is practically my entire personality at this point, and my friend and i often do covers of their songs together (we wish we could compose music like this), it's such an integral point of our friendship too because we're now getting bad fish tattoos together. can't believe it's been twelve years from when i started really liking this band. i might just cry.
