Our Best Slabs Yet! Slabbing a 7 Pound Iris Agate, Highly Agatized Wood, and Colorful Jaspers!

In this one, we take nine amazing rocks and feed them to the slab saw! We selected three Montana moss agates, three amazingly agatized specimens of petrified wood, two of which were highly brecciated with chalcedony, ad three vivid jaspers. The results were fantastic! The wood exceeded expectations, the agates had phenomenal color, moss, and banding, we even got iris in a 7 pound Montana agate, and the jaspers looked wildly different on the inside compared to the crusts! This might be our best slabbing session yet! I hope you all enjoy this one, and I will have another out soon!

My favorite? Oh gee, it changes each time you show a new piece! 😂 I love the iris agates, the brecciate pet wood was amazing! The depth of color in the Montana agate with all the inclusions was gorgeous! Ok, I have to pick a favorite? So…it has to be the agatized pet wood! That piece is incredible! 🤩🤩😍 But, truly, Theo, you do a fantastic job with the slabbing and working all the pieces. I have a very deep respect for your abilities❤

These are amazing. Theo you should take thin slabs and cut them and make a "stained glass" window out of a picture frame and make it back-lit so it glows!!!

I'm a new subscriber and love your videos! I love the joy you express when you look at rocks, I'm sure my family thinks, hmm. I'm in my 60's, & my Grandad tumbled rocks when I was little. As an adult I started tumbling rocks in my 40's. Now in my 60's I started showing my grandsons. Idk the types of rocks, but Ive bought many lbs from local former rock wholesaler. I have loved every one. Thank you for your videos!

I love when rocks make me involuntarily ooh & ahh. The petwoods are soo cool. My favorite is the olivine caramel colored jasper. I dream of a 3" or more iris pendant, if you ever feel like making something like that with those mammoth pieces😯😊 Simply amazing finds Theo!

I love them all but that last one that you made very thin exceptional oh I think it'd be so neat to take some of those thin pieces and put them together like a solder it with solder and hang it up and treat it like I've done two maybe three pieces with glass and fairly thin slabs like you showed and that one oh my gosh the way the light shines through it like you say it's so pretty magical even ✨✨✨✨✨
