First and still would like your tartar sauce recipe please.

The secret to Joyce's tartar sauce is her home made relish. She makes the tartar sauce just for me she actually doesn't like tartar sauce so it's made fresh when we have fish. So when she makes that small batch she uses 2 Table Spoons of mayonnaise, 1 1/2 teaspoons of homemade relish (or a good quality with no preservatives) and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder. I believe it's her relish that makes it so good, she makes her pickles and relish once a year and cans it in mason jars. Thanks a lot for Watching

My mo used to take us crabbing when I was growing up. We never kept them. We just gave them away when we started to leave. I wish she would have kept them and eaten them. I've never had blue crabs before. We always used hand lines, but no net. They would hang on while we swung them over the bucket and shook them off. I can't remember many crabs letting go. This was back in the 70's, so maybe they've gotten scared over the years.

Sometimes they hang on but a lot of times they let go especially the big ones, it's according to how the sun is facing and whether they see you. Thanks for Watching

The first time I used the bag of Zattarains crab boil spices, I did the same thing that Joyce did. It got all over the crab boil potatos and mushrooms and shrimp. What a mess I had. Never opened that bag again. lol.

That little one at the beginning was an immature female. The Jimmy was holding on to her waiting for her to shed so he can mate with her when shes soft. Used to catch a couple hundred a day and we would shed them out in tanks for Softshells here in Southern Maryland.

Those bags are made for boiling Crabs in the water not steaming but I hope they come out great I usually just throw the whole bag in a pot of water and then throw the crabs in there and turn it off and let him sit for 15 minutes

You're right, but we bought them the day before in Pascagoula and Joyce was anxious to try it, we didn't have very many crabs so she TRIED lol to open the package to see if it would add any flavor and it did. We'll do it the correct way when we cook more crabs at home. Thanks a lot for Watching

I truly enjoy watching I live down here in Texas by Galveston Island and I have crab traps out right I normally leave them out in between 5 and 7 days and all end up with anywhere from 20 to 60 lb
