I've never got hands on with any of my bikes but recently picked up an R1150GS, it was squealing on start up and after watching your other videos about changing the Poly V belt I was able to change it myself. Great guide, very much enjoyed the video. I am rebuilding 2 old bikes that I have had in storage for a few years, a BMW R1150GS ( 2003 ) and a BMW R100GSPD ( 1993 ) and these videos are a great way to remind myself how to service them again.

Thanks. Very good diy vid. In old motorcycles, it is recommended to lower the torque, and use sealing glue. This is also to ensure a seal where the screw and the seal surface are already worn from the past years, and also to keep the screw from tearing the screw threds.

Helaas is mijn vrouw getroffen door de meest verschrikkelijkste ziekte die je, je kunt indenken. Daardoor ben ik vanaf eind augustus uit de running, zogezegt. Ineens ben je dan mantelzorger. Sindsdien is ze al een keer of 6..7 (ik ben de tel kwijt) Met gillende sirenes het zknhuis in gesjeest. Maar nu gaat het een klein beetje beter. De filmpjes die ik er nu opzet is al geschoten in maart.. vandaar mn afwezigheid 😉

Earlier you used Transmax Axle but now you changed to Transmax Universal. Why?

These are oils that Castrol advice, and sometimes they simply rename that oil 😉
