@ 11:45 - how about the pagan roots of Christmas and Easter? Looking at you, 119. Your search for truth in the topic of proper religious holidays is no more meaningful than their search for truth regarding our understanding of the cosmos and God's creation. Both are important topics that have major implications if the minority viewpoint is true. Both are equally shrouded in conspiracy and confusion with multiple intercepts and overlaps that largely depend on the total corruption of the Catholic church. As a ministry whose tagline is "test everything" I would think you would at least recognize that they are using that same mindset to hold fast to the truth found in God's word over the traditions and philosophies of man.

Are we supposed to hold on to traditions handed down by scholars, teachers and leaders in the church or are we to be as the Bereans and prove the truth of what we have been Taught and be as the sons of Issacar who knew the times and what to do? If a topic is to be preached or taught then one must be willing to do their due diligence and prove "all" things before espousing opinion on matters foreign to them. One brother said it well, "I'd rather be divided in truth than united in lies". Yahuah is revealing much to his Yahudim in these last days and exposing centuries of lies. If you are in disagreement with the cosmology of Yah's creation and use your platform to critique it and write it off as junk food, then you should respect Yah and the Scriptures and refute the facts before passing judgement. You have valuable teachings and I respect what you do, but you are off base on these assertions. Yah bless.

Interesting how you're basically calling the flat earth/biblical earth theological junk food even though I've had several friends come to Christ through knowledge of the flat earth. Think about how many people have fallen away due to the slippery slope that globe earth brings such as big bang, evolution and old earth. Good job covering up what scripture says about the earth by calling it junk food. The truth is important and so is having the scientific answers when non believers think the Bible is ridiculous. I've been investigating the flat earth for a few years now. A scientific documentation is what is really needed. Most people don't trust the Word of YHWH anyway and the interpretations of translations based on Hebrew differ so vastly that it's too difficult to use the Bible alone to prove this. The shape of the earth and nuances of the Biblical calendar are not theological junk food. They are specifically spoken to in Scripture. There was no need for Yahusha and Sha'ul to address either topic because everyone at that time knew the earth was flat and kept the Biblical calendar. As for discord, we are supposed to challenge things that are not in line with Scripture. Messiah specifically challenged doctrines and traditions that were not Biblical - and didn't do it calmly, either, in some cases. He even said that He did not come to bring peace, but a sword and that mother would turn against daughter, etc. We are supposed to pray for discernment, and we will differ on things as we travel at different speeds along that path. That doesn't make opposing opinions theological junk food.

I really appreciate this ministry (got me off and running on learning Hebrew) but this particular video is a logical fallacy that amounts to a red herring. You state that Jesus and the disciples never focused on, or even mentioned, XYZ, therefore, neither should we. Do I even need to go further with this? -I will, for clarity: Jesus never mentioned abortion, evolution or the shape of the earth, yet all three, for example, give rise to core foundational doctrinal questions (nature of human life, source of life, configuration and origin of the ‘cosmos,’) that are, in fact, ingrained, addressed and explained in Scripture, whether by denotation or connotation. If I could suggest, a much more useful approach would be to avoid vague generalities and potshots and deal explicitly with specific items, one by one, that you consider doctrinal fallacies. Then we’ll have something to hammer on. Everyone already understands the problem of junk food in general.

This is my constant concern. The comments below show that this issue is even more alarming than I had realized before. We as the "body of Messiah" are becoming more toxic as the time grows shorter. Where is our outreach? Where is our concern for the lost? Where is our brokenness over OUR sin. I must say I don't agree with everything you brothers put out, but your ministry has been a focal point in causing me to look deeper into Scripture and to try to focus on my own response to our Fathers requirements and His abundant love for His bride. May He forgive our disobedience and may we as His bride seek to win the lost and help others to live lives that show our agreement with His Word.

I so appreciate 119 ministries and your work! Over the years soooo many "teachers" have come out with soooo many "hidden", "new", "long misunderstood", ideas and secrets that I can get confused. I wondered what this is and you gave the definition of it, from the scriptures. Only yesterday someone famous who I have listened to before (not 119) was giving a list of "secrets of this day, time, place, thing" that they are revealing supposedly from scriptures because they have personally been shown these. When I tried to listen to this person it was as if they were talking babble. They talked in circles, related this point to line up with this scripture that proved this secret with this newsworthy happening that occurred in 1984. HUH?! Personally for the sake of new Torah observers I wish you could give a list of these people to save the constant distraction and confusion from happening to anyone else. But that is not the focus of what you do. Your organization is one of a VERY FEW that challenge each of us to look into the scriptures, along with you, and see for ourselves that the Word is not difficult and that with a little help such as definitions of words and actual timelines of events from scriptures we can understand how to live the way the Father intended here and now. So with all that said, I want to caution others especially if you feel a special allegiance to someone "famous" out there to go back to the scriptures before supporting their "new", "secret", "hidden", "untold", revelation. If it isn't in the scriptures then it is at best questionable and very possible a distraction that will lead you away from Him. That, to me, is what is so serious about understanding why119 produced this video. They care, and they just want us to see from scripture how to "test everything". Thank you for being true to your mission 119 Ministries!

I'm sorry to disagree with this video..I find it amazing how Christians say they beleive the bible is the literal word of GOD but only when convient for their perspective. IM NOT A EVOLUTONIST..I beleive in creation,so for me,the way its described in Genesis,(6 days) earth created day 1...day 4 Sun Moon and stars....also Genesis 6 says Sons of God took Daughters of man and produced Nephalim..never mentions SETHITE THEORY..which is a man made doctrine....A large number of Christians beleive we may be in end times...we are told to look for signs and know our enemy...and the ONLY place to get that knowledge is SCRIPTURE...I dont see how knowledge that brings us closer to our loving FATHER can be devisive... Yes salvation is the primary focus...isnt knowledge of where we temporarily dwell equally as important?..also the deceptions of the enemy ?...didnt JESUS admonish us NOT to be deceived concerning his second coming...has it not been said that a strong delusion will be sent and the very elect could be deceived?...so I respectfully disagree with so called JUNK FOOD STATEMENT...I trust Pastors such as DR.Chuck Missler, and Christian researchers like L.A. In adult SS this past Sunday, the teacher was trying to say that speculation on end times prophecy was "meat" for the mature Christian. And that Christians who aren't ready for that are needing "milk" because they are not mature Christian. I say he is not teaching "meat" but this stuff he was teaching is "junk" food. One of the problems with Christians and churches these days is they think all the "junk food" discussions are really "meat" for only the mature can accept. However, not one of them know what is true "meat" food for Christian growth. I find most church leaders only seek to feed their congregations "junk" food only which is controversial and leads to likeminded people who all eat the same junk food and never will receive any "meat" of the scripture.

I get what you are saying, I always felt like the brother causing discord among those while I was in the church just by bringing what I read in the scriptures. They would never go far enough or read the scriptures before which spoke to what my wife and I would see. We did not see Torah yet but we were heading that way. Once I was ordained as a pastor and suddenly given a church it seemed I was being tested as I was being shown Torah would I follow or want to be a pastor and a church more. Would I compromise? I did not I started teaching from the pulpit what I could see and hear. While it wasn't a complete turn around I knew what I was taught was wrong, scary wrong. Even when I stopped being a pastor I realized I was not one who would teach, I just started studying. Those in the church who saw what I saw stuck around and for a few years but for the most part we were alone. There was nobody and the teachers of the day that had videos were like you said sensational in their presentations, as the truth started being poured out more and more, that was about the same time 119 started, along with others who were on different chats on the computer. As the truth went out so did the junk food and what was bothersome to me the junk food was all people would talk about, the mythologies the secret numbers and the names. Years later came flat earth and other issues to distract. It was like it was in the church, in the church you had a teacher or a self professed prophet with a new revelation they recieved from God, so here we are still. I know it will take a lot to guard His word. But I believe I have always had His spirit and even when I thought somnething was right, time and study would show me truth. I am not a well educated man, tried to learn to speak hewbrew and just could not grasp it. Same with reading hebrew. What we do have is books that show us translation and what words mean :) so while I am not a linguist or scholar I do have His spirit which shows me how to get there and when I have that sense of caution I just wait to see what I will find. We are in a rough place in a rough time and to get harder place on time. Be careful what you think you find test all things as your emotions may take you away from the true path as I have seen to many times. I still do not teach but I guard. And discuss in hopes of finding truth not what I think is right, though I have known to adamant :)

I think the key here is to not argue about "junk" food but understand it for what it is. If it is not food for growth and prosperity, then it is junk food. And when junk food material is brought up in church, I think it is wise to let the people know that it is junk food. Also, junk food should not be preached or taught in church. It can be for discussions outside of church but never for argument or as doctrine. All pastors and preachers should be aware of junk food and not include them in the context of sermons or teaching as they are all man-made doctrines until they are revealed to us in the next life.

I don't understand why you had to make a 20-minute video on this topic. First of all, it's really none of your business what any of us watch on KZbin nor is it your business to tell us what is good and what is not. Second of all, the only way you learn the difference between junk food and real food is by grabbing a bag of Doritos over a balanced meal and discovering that it did you no favors. That'smy job, not some guy on KZbin. You are not Daddy. You don't have a right to do this kind of thing. You're simply skirting around so that you can condemn other channels without actually mentioning them by name, because you want to be seen as "Godly". Rob Skiba is not "junk food" nor would he spend precious air time vaguely attacking competitors such as you have. I think if God talked to either one of you, you would be the one on the carpet. I have heard many of their testimonies. They always leave the church to become Messianic or HR because they believe they've been lied to by the church and then eventually they became Jewish or Noahide. And as you know, many HR end up throwing out Paul eventually. What Christian that is not HR have you ever heard of throwing out Paul? Yet HR is known for it.

Proverbs 18:3 1Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. 2A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. 3When the wicked cometh, thencometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach. 4The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. 5It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. 6A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes
