When they talked about how brilliant Paul was to be the 1 in 1000 students to study under Gamaliel, I was so excited I was like, "That's *our* Paul!!" ... even though he lived 2000 years ago and I'm not Jewish. If you could love and respect someone from their writings, it has got to be Paul. He not only explains the whole breadth and depth of theology so systematically and clearly, but also writes with so much overflowing love and sincerity, pleading with and encouraging us to walk in a manner worthy of Christ. Whenever I hear conspriacy theories about Paul, I know it's because they haven't read him truly and understood his heart.

Lovin' this. Paul is the first guy I want to meet after Jesus, my late husband and child when I get home. Still a much maligned guy by those who wrest his writing to their own destruction as they do also the other scriptures. Christ chose the best Apostle for protecting the young church from the religious and secular dangers of the day. Those who say otherwise don't just question Paul, but the wisdom of Christ in appointing him.

Paul never calls himself a Christian he always calls himself a Jew. Jesus could have called him to be a disciple but he did not He chose men who had not been influenced by another Rabbi. Yeshua must have had a reason for that.

@@sylviaspandow-tassi5644 you are right, He did have a reason. So that Paul would be an example of Christ’s long suffering… 1 Timothy 1:12-16 NKJV [12] And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, [13] although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. [14] And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. [15] This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. [16] However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

This was awesome and I thank you both! I really enjoyed it and learned some things. One example being, as being raised in the Christian faith all my life, I knew Paul was taught by Gamaliel an important rabbi, but you really showed me how significant and important that was. I thank you again for shedding new light on the uniqueness of Paul's life. On the one hand his history as a Pharisee but he also had Roman citizenship- Yeshua chose the perfect person for his role in spreading the gospel and why it makes sense he wrote a majority of the New Testament (Covenant).

Why after the aposteles time ( The Act), there are so many Israelite left Christianity and become jewish again???????????????????????????? Look how many Israelite still in Christianity after that. After the roman Empire rule many Christian to left their Faith!!! Just a little, and they left Israel and live in many countries around. Why this happened?????????? Because Paul has phropecied in Galatians 5:1-2, and follow by 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12!!!!! As he said in Romans 9-11!!!!!! Pray intercession by fasting to the LORD GOD YHWH in the Name of JESUS-YESHUA-YHSHUA-YESUA, for true repentance of Israel to the LORD GOD Almighty in the Name of JESUS-YESHUA-YHSHUA-YESUA. The other side is hoping for a lot of people who had an NDE to raise awareness about the afterlife. But it's not always easy to come up with it, there's a lot of controversy over the NDE topics and it's not easy to risk criticism from the people you trust and love, that's why a lot of people don't talk about their NDE. It's a big problem that humanity doesn't have a clue what happens after death. But it's only true for the last one hundred years or so!!! Before that time, everyone on earth knew that there's an afterlife, there's eternity. The oldest things we find of our ancestors, some of those things are thirty thousand years old, are things that were put into graves of loved ones. That's a proof that even then, people believed in the afterlife. They knew that there's eternity, just like there's human life on earth!!! It's a scam to blind us. It's a scam to make us go astray. If we knew that there's eternity, that there's a life review and that we must stand before judgement and explain what we have done in our own life's time, we would take a lot of care of the most precious thing there is, our soul. And the harvest that our soul brings back to eternity.

I so respect and appreciate Paul and his writings. He knew the Law of Moses 'inside and out.' He was an excellent student of the greatest teachers. He served with the highest 'court system' of the Jews - the Sanhedrin. Yet when he met the risen Savior face to face he not only was blinded but "knew his heart had been blind." Paul emerged from his encounter baptized- totally immersed in the Holy Spirit of God. He had once overseen the stoning and deaths of Christians to becoming one of the greatest that ever lived. He who had been "the chiefest of sinners" walked out the transformation of one who was one of the greatest masters of The Word to a servant of The One who was The Word Made Flesh. Paul transformed. He was called to help Jew and Gentile transition from merely fleshly beings into the life of this new creatures filled with the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. His own life of study met the Re-Creator through the only way that it could. JESUS- THE LAMB of GOD. That LIFE, that SACRIFICIAL BLOOD, that ATONEMENT * all * FULFILLED THE SCRIPTURES. Paul who once was blind - now could see. No threat of death could turn Paul back. His whole life had been emersed in the Word and imposing penalties on those who failed and then He was CAPTURED by the LOVE OF GOD. ❤️ May we all be so captured. A prisoner of Christ. ❤️

Excellent teaching! I am part of the Jewish community here and have heard the rabbis state publicly that "Jesus did not start Christianity, but Paul started Christianity by denying the Torah (I.e. Law)." Hence a big stumblingly block for Jews. I will point out to them some of the texts you shared about Paul not forsaking the faith of our patriarchs while embracing his "Jewish" Messiah. Paul's theology was a Messianic Judaism, not a Rabbinic Judaism or Christianity that is promoted and popularized today. ✡️

I love Paul, he was so excited to share greatest love story of all time in Romans chapter 7. We also can see that while Paul (being the firebrand the other Apostles needed) confronted the ugly problems of the early church like the circumcision party the other Apostles saw him as brother and backed up his writings like in 2 Peter. Though Peter did warn that Paul is hard to understand and that unstable people who hate the law of God would twist Paul's words toward their own destruction.

Your family is on the right track and you seem to be traveling backwards. Ever since the Jews were let go in Acts 28:28-31, the realization of their kingdom hope began to dim and eventually went completely out. At some point after Acts 28, everyone, that wasn't already saved by faith in the Messiah of Israel, was given the status of being simply a pagan/heathen. God made his verdict on Judaism crystal clear in 70 A.D. when he allowed the Roman army to wipe out over a million Jews and their city and temple. Israel had been given a 40-year-period in which to accept their Messiah and they did not as a nation accept him. Eternal life became "the gift of God" by a simple belief in Jesus Christ and faith in him as our Saviour by his death, burial and resurrection. The terms of our salvation today are Ephesians 2:8&9 (KJV preferred) which has no rules, regulations, laws, ordinances, feast or ritual observance, works meet for repentance, etc. attached! There is no indication that the terms of salvation will change back or to anything other than Ephesians 2:8&9 before Christ who is our life shall appear (Col. 3:4 KJV), and he receives "the kingdom of his [God's] dear Son" (Col. 1:13 KJV). The only ticket in to that kingdom is a completely free one simply for believing in Christ and what he did for us at Calvary!

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the gospel of the kingdom and what it truly means to be a follower/disciple of Yeshua~ Jesus. You are throwing away the foundation and without the foundation your 'house' will not stand. The Bible says in 1st John Chp 5 says right off, The Love of God is this that we obey his commands and his commands are not burdensome. Since God is not a respecter of persons as it states in scripture then that means we all should want to please the Lord through faith and just be obedient. Don't get caught up in mans doctrine. We all need to be circumsized in our hearts. Because if it was just for males, us women would have no hope.

@@sarahrickman6609 Circumcision is just for males and it is a physical practice. 'Circumcision of the heart' is a metaphorical statement, obviously. And to be 'circumcised at heart', whatever that means, doesn't mean the men don't have to be circumcised anymore. This goes against the law.

James was a Jew, and Apostle so equal with that of another Apostle, (see Scriptures text below) they would be equally God's chosen people. John was given the last Revelation, Revelation is the Gospel of Yeshua. I hope most people understand this. The entire Scripture is pointing to Yeshua, but His Words are above ours, and It would be better not to state something when there is obvious existence that Even John the Baptist had much to say that we are not given as doctrine. James cannot be a boss to another when they learned from the old testament prophets as we do. We receive from the Holy Spirit, not from an Apostle. They received from God like any other messenger or servant but yes some have an elder above them in the Spirit. Faithful works precedes works. Thus we are not under the old law because the works done by the new law are by faith and servitude to Christ, the work of the old law are by obedience and ordinance to God as fulfillment pledge through lineage (chosen Jews). Jews may practice the old law but Christians are by Faith alone, and not by works but by grafted Lineage to Christ. Gentiles understand that Yeshua is also God and therefore the Religion of God includes Both Judaism and Christianity known as judeoChristianity. Works are secondary and not of course to be cast aside, but they are of the Spirit, not of the old law unto a religion. Also you acclaimed, or venerated James, which is not acceptable from God's Commandments.. God said to not uphold one Apostle or prophet above another; that is heresy. He said God alone is Good. And Apostles all err in their understanding, but were given inspiration through the Holy Spirit, and through Him you support works; that is great l, do them, because the end is near. if As Christ chose twelve, and then by successive twelves were meant to have authority to spread the Gospel, then this means that it is a representative of what is in Heaven. God first, then the seven spirits, then the archangels etc, then the 24 elders which are known as the Melchizedek Priesthood, which Yeshua was the one to Create that priesthood. And there fore He is higher authority. Also most don't realize that God's people will judge angels, but not all will be found corrupt, which means they were true to God. And so they remain as God's host which He brings with Him. For we all have 12 Elders of old law, 12 Apostles of the Church Gentiles) as equal but under Christ. Christ rules over all of us equally. We are all given reward not rank. . And it states those of the Gentiles Body of Christ followers will also be judges with Christ. I see it that the rabbis detest the idea. Gentiles will be under the Jewish Elders, but Christians will also judge the principalities of rulership in the Heavens. But that stated , Faith without works is dead, it means Faith is the path to Salvation, works are justification within our Faith and manifestation of someone that is saved Faith is superior to works. Works are proof of Faith.. I will still state Paul was just as accurate as James. John the Apostle as accurate and equal to Moses, and Abraham. And Paul certainly had works .. his Writings cover most of the New Covenant. And the New Covenant is greater than the Old. Because it is New. Christ said He will make all things New. Thus based on Torah, He must make the New Covenant greater than the old. But it still stands as proof that God hold His promises, because God will also save Jews that repent from rabbinism, and religiosity by Accepting the Messiah. The works basically means they are meaningless if they have a different spirit attached with them. Do you commit to works of the old law but not of the New Covenant, what about the Jews that do works and still are made lesser than those with greater Faith? Isaiah 8“But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The offspring of Abraham My friend, 9You whom I [the LORD] have [a]taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you [even though you are exiled]. 10‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with - My righteous right hand (Yeshuah) [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation (Yeshuah)].’ " But Paul said he was lower than the original twelve simply for persecution of them while fully knowing everything about Yeshua and still rejecting Him. And they the Apostles did suffer the most, but we also see that Yeshua took Peter James and John to the mountainside and showed them Moses and Elijah. Peters lacking of understanding was due to not fully knowing the Scriptures' which James and John may have had more time studying. But this doesn't mean lower position as an Elder. Paul admits he also had much doctrine to be confused about. Which is why one must study all of the Scriptures' continually. That is why we listen to Paul and Yeshua comparatively but also do not deny either, because they were of our Faith (the Gospel) . I also know that only Jews write Scripture. because they also give the clearest details. James simply said works are evident in the new Covenant of Christianity. These can contain the old law but they clearly refer to everything mentioned in his gospel of James. Be doers of the law so that you might be instructed; that statement means so that you take care of those who have less than you. Do not segregate amongst those who believe as you believe, but seek those who might waver on solid teaching. (See texts below) you must convert all men to Christ. Have not all Apostles done this? Where was James the boss in that he greater than the other Apostles if we are made unified in the body of Christ? (See text below)

◄ Ephesians 4 ► Unity in the Body (Psalm 133:1-3; 1 Corinthians 1:10-17) 1 "Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling to which you were called, 2with all humility and gentleness; with patience bearing with one another in love; 3being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace; 4one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called into one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one Faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ, (God). 8Therefore it says:a “Having ascended on high, He led captive captivity, and gave gifts to men.”b 9Now what is “He ascended,” except that He also descended into the lower regions of the earth? 10The One having descended is also the same One having ascended above all the heavens, so that He (God) might fill all things. 11And He gave some indeed to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers, 12toward the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, 13until we all may attain to the - unity of the Faith- and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14so that no longer we might be infants, being tossed by waves and being carried about by every wind of teaching in the cunning, in the craftiness of men with a view to the scheming of deceit."

Well, yours is Augustinian. Augustine, enjoying the "political" power of earthly chruch of the Romans and having no revelation of the future restoration of Israel, replaced Israel by the Church. Hence, everything about the Church became an allegory. But we witness today that Israel in flesh will continue to exist as promised. Paul himself prophesied that one day the whole Israel as a nation will be saved. Church is unique establishment of Christ - all people separated by the Spirit of God from this evil world.

@@davidchase1439 most white European people are descendants of the Israelites many of whom are saved The current population of Israel are not from the line of Abraham so they are not ethnically Jewish or Israelites. When the Israelites were cast out from the land, as per the bible says, other peoples were allowed to be converted to following the one true god. In the countries where they were expelled too and where they ended up roaming, many people's converted because they were strong and they took over large parts of the land that they went to. This is why the Danube river that runs through Europe was named after the tribe of Dan. All of the Celts came from the Israelites and they moved through France into the UK Going back to these converts, after the 3rd or 4th generation they start to believe that they are ethnically Jewish but they can never be so, when the state of Israel was formed in 1948 and a call to all Jews in the world went out, these converts answered the call and that is over 90% of what fills the land today. Less than 10% are actually from the line of Abraham. That's why most of the "Jews" in Israel have the same DNA ethnically as the Arab palestinians and the neighbouring arab countries. It is the same when they did DNA testing on the ancient pharaohs of Egypt. They discovered that's the current population of Egypt had less than a 1% match with the ancient pharaohs in their DNA however, there was over 70% match with white English males.
