Yes it would. It would probably be easier as Hugo’s hair is quite hard to work with

Sick haircut man, anyway to do this with thinning shears at home lmao? Lockdown problems , I have a bit of experience in barbering (1 years collage) but far from expert lmao

There is so many techniques with thinning shears. And you can do a whole haircut with the but you need to make about 10 times as many cuts.

Hi Michael, at 10:00, your left hand held the hair while the right hand razored the hair. How is that result different than using only right hand to hold the razor while pinch-guiding with your right thumb? How many Hugo haircuts does the blade last before you change the blade? Thanks! 😀

A good way to think of razor work is to remember the phrase 'short pushes long' So whatever direction you go against the hair then the hair will start to curl or push in that direction. It's harder for hair to bend backwards against shorter hairs behind it. The razor will probably last two haircuts, and you should aim to razor wet hair as it can drag on dry hair.

I used the clippers to do the top & sides; basically replacing the razor/scissors but using the same method. Is there a proper way to hold the clippers/comb? I kept putting the clippers down to get a new section then picking up the clipper to cut.

It's slow but putting the clipper down is the best way. I did the same.
