Thank you for explaining this so clearly. Other people made it sound complicated and you broke it down to where anyone, even me, can do it.

Hey everyone welcome to this easy tutorial on blending beards in.
@DonnyTsunamiGG3 ай бұрын
I always ask to blend the beard in and line up the back of the beard at no extra charge. It ties the haircut together if they have a beard. Only time I charge for the beard is if I’m lining up the cheek line, neck line, or taking some length off.

Good stuff, as always! Would be worth showing a before and after though. We can see it to some extent as you're talking at the end of the video, but just turning your head left and right would really have drilled home just how much of a difference this makes!

Thanks Jamie. I always appreciate feedback on video quality. I'll try to get a bit more emphasis on the before and after in future videos 👍👍👍

When I was younger my peripheral vision allowed me to see my ears without using a mirror but now I've been trying to grow side burns but unintentionally hack them off with my straight razor..nice fix.

How do I use a big clipper to make the first line
@theoneminutebarber2 жыл бұрын
Just jump to the 01:30 mark in the video and start at that point. If you don't have the little trimmer don't worry about it. It won't make that much difference

For a bald head where would u start the line near the ear?
@theoneminutebarber10 ай бұрын
You can start is anywhere but just remember that you can use the beard as a frame for the face. Personally I like the top of the ear.

I think you would look better without the beard either with a stubble or nothing 😉 you have nice eyes, teeth and hair though :) thanks for the demo.

I used an Andis T outliner and then an Andis master

Hi..is your clipper zero gapped or normal ?
@theoneminutebarber3 жыл бұрын
Yes it's zero gapped.
@theoneminutebarber3 жыл бұрын
Just to add to that sorry. The t outliner is zero gapped. The big clipper the Andis master is not.

@@theoneminutebarber thanks for the helpful information. 👍
@theoneminutebarber3 жыл бұрын
You would actually buy a fading blade for the Andis master and zero gap that as the blade it comes with doesn't truly zero gap. But the fade blade is lethal. So I use my Wahl senior for fades and the Andis master for the donkey work most of the time.

2:01 Can all clippers with levers be moved to the "in between" position Michael?🤔 Also, I noticed your Andis has what looks to be little notches or marks where the lever moves. Are those different in between "settings"? I have an old Remington HC2000 I don't use that has a lever and I had no idea what its purpose was until your previous video 😊🙌 (Suppose I should put the Rem back together - I dismantled it last summer so I could see the inner workings and clean it out... I never did grow out of my overwhelming curiosity to take stuff apart to see what made it tick. My parents were not fans of my "hobby"... 😝) I sooooo enjoy learning new AND actually useful stuff from your channel!! Thanks again for another great video!
@theoneminutebarber3 жыл бұрын
Thank you again Dawg. Those little dots are useful for when you want a ridiculous level of precision and want to move in fractions of a millimetre. You can definitely move your blade to an in between position if it has the lever. An important note is lever tension though as you might notice in my next video. My lever was loose and returned to closed while I was cutting 🙈
