@@neonboy1998 I marvel at this limited mind! I know that the media distorts the image of Islam and calls it terrorism (terrorism has no religion). How many innocent Muslims killed his victim. In the Qur'an in the sense of the verse (which killed a man as if he killed all people), as the hadith says, do not cut down a tree and not destroy the house of worship. You do not know Islam, many like you were one of the strongest enemies of Islam, but when they searched for and learned it became Muslims. Because Islam addresses the mind. and the verses of the Qur'an contain a miracle later discovered by scholars. I think if you look at the Crusades and the massacres of the Jews and count the numbers, you will find that terrorism has no religion .

On my test I had a convergent lens followed by a concave mirror. Initially, the "image-lens" distance on the convergent lens gave me a positive value, meaning it was formed between the convergent lens and the concave mirror. Now, when calculating "di" for the concave mirror, did I have to give the original "image-lens" value from the convergent lens a negative sign because it was a "virtual object/Image" for the concave mirror?

Why would the Di for the second image be inverted when the m value is positive. It should be upright???
@byjeremy.4 жыл бұрын
Because for the second image, the 'object' is the calculated first image he obtained which was inverted. Since the m value is positive its orientation will remain the same which is inverted but if the value is negative then it would become upright (inversion of the inverted image).

@@amitagarwalla8205 so i can still use n1sintheta1=n2sintheta2 for lenses?
@cubingtubing81722 жыл бұрын
@@ARCSTREAMS Snell's law is a very basic law for refraction. We can't find values of certain variables, such as the image distance and object distance. We have to use the Thin Lens Formula. Thin Lens Formula is also nothing but approximation. Sad thing about Ray Optics is that there is a lot of approximation involved. Using basic ideas such as Snell's law doesn't turn out to be very effective. I hope my comment cleared whatever problem you had.

were you not given the f or some other way to find it (D perhaps)?
@dinamush13422 жыл бұрын
You can use the formula for the magnification for this, since it's a real image the magnification will be negative.
@dinamush13422 жыл бұрын
m = hi/ho -3= hi/ho -3 x ho = hi Since the magnification for the height and the distance will be equal you can just use the distance instead so -3 = -di/do -3 x do = -di 3 x -do = di

Magnification - how much bigger the image is from the object. It's determined by either H / h (height of the image / height of the object) or di / do (distance of the image from the lens / distance of the object from the lens). In my books it's marked with the letter Г gamma from the greek alphabet
