1kilojoule=1000joules 1000gram calories = 1 Kilocalorie For some reason i think people say 1 kilo joule is just joule and 1 kilo calorie is just a calorie..... 1 joule= 0.000239006 kcal 1kcal= 4184 joules 1 kcal= 4.184 kilo joule 1 kilo joule= 0.239006 kcal 1 gram calorie= 0.004184 kilo joule 1 kilo joule= 239.006 gram calories 1 joule= 0.239006 gram calorie 1 gram calorie= 4.184 joules someone correct me if I'm wrong please!

Calories are a metric unit designed for thermal measurement. As opposed to foot pounds, which are imperial and designed for classical Force.

Tell me you use the imperial system without telling me you use the imperial system: When you see "food calories" as a different unit than "regular calories" and you use an extra conversion step when 1 kcal literally means 1000 cal. And you just want to overcomplicate it by naming it the same, but with a capital C? sheesh -_-
