Firstly Lawrence Krauss is one of my favourite scientists. So glad to watch this as I had never heard of Elizabeth Loftus. A fascinating podcast about memory. I have an early childhood memory that has disturbed me my whole life. I thought for years it was a real memory, however, as the years have gone by I wondered if it was actually a dream or nightmare?

i always knew about these studies. of false memories in eye witnesses or supposed rape victims. how memories can be implanted etc. and always found it fascinating but i never knew the person responsible for bringing it to the forefront and doing such amazing work on the subject. thanks to you lawrence i can finally put a name and face to that research. this podcast is really a treasure trove. and it´s a shame that it´s not as extremely popular as it deserves to be. i´ll certainly gonna keep recommending it to people i know.

Wow... Such a heavy topic that's worth listening to and reflecting on. Lawrence asked her how this knowledge has affected her life and she responded about being able to ingrain menial, positive changes in other people. I believe the same may apply to ourselves wherein we may believe our own positive, beneficial falsehoods.

I agree that Lawrence does interrupt a bit too much, but I think he is just trying to engage with his guests, rather than just passively listening, to make it more of a conversation. It's a difficult balance.

Psychology shall be our #1 focus since we must first understand who we are as humans, what's are differences as man and woman, and down to individual personality. Without this knowledge we keep messing up any environment, hence the world being this mess now.

Dear Lawrence ; I have a lots of untold real stories which gives the shapes my experiences , some of them , so miserable, which I might not wanted to share them with the others, but as this real memories can help humanity I’m going to publish them and this experience will explain how some people be aware of accidents before it happens.

This makes me think of the Betty and Barney Hill case where they're memories of abduction came out supposedly repressed, in a psychyetrist's office under the influence of hypnosis. Conditions we now know make the subject's highly suggestible. We may never know what really happened but my scepticism is triggered.

It’s sounds like you know more about my experiences , as some of them are so emotional and I don’t like to refresh my memory but in this stage I’m going to do that because, it’s something can teach a lots of meaning to the other people’s life , and I’m going to starts on live Facebook program in about 30 minutes now.

@@joemorgenstern9846 Our depictions of aliens alone are inconclusive in determining their existence. If they existed, one would argue that they are similar because they are about a real thing. If they don't, they are similar because mass media. Our depictions of unicornes came first, because they are all there is. Our depiction of horses came second, because we first saw horses, then we drew them.

If you’re a thinker you can get a lots of knowledge from the incident happens on our nature’s, the main subject which makes me to be more sensitive, about the space , it was a fireworks which all of us seen by the new year’s and other celebrations, including the other scientific ideas, like Steven howling and Albert Einstein, and the things which happened to creates our world , and your own sixty years of your experience makes you more intelligent to find the answer why there is something rather than nothing, and of course when I’ll go to explain them scientifically I’ll care about the people who’s listening to your words , now I’ll go back to the new year , when too many rockets exposed in to the air , what do you see ?
