God the concept behind this game is so badass. I wish they had the time to flesh out the other bounty hunters in-game, have some short interactions with them rather than just the occasional battle. I could imagine Samus, Spire and Noxus could've briefly teamed up or her having a proper confrontation with Weavel for what she did to him. It's by no means an awful game, but there was so much more potential here than what we got. Let's hope Prime 4 gives Sylux proper development.

My theory for Sylux is that he was part of the Galactic Federation, but soon saw something. 1. Sylux thinks the G.F. are weak and need to get stornger. Or 2. Sylux saw the corruption behind the G.F. and must be stopped

I think Sylux’s intrigue also lies in that he is the only other canonical in-game character who uses a power suit ( not counting Dark Samus because I think that’s supposed to be part of her body, or at least something of an organically generated armor based on the form of Samus’s Phazon Suit rather than an actual “power suit” ), as his bio states that he’s using stolen GF power armor that seems to have been intended to emulate that of Samus’s power suit, so assuming it works properly, he is one of the few characters which can be considered Samus’s equal, even in contrast with the other hunters - that fact that he has a ship with a similar form to Samus’s gunship only furthers that parallel.

Call me crazy, but I loved the campaign of Hunters. Great soundtrack, super atmospheric and downright scary in some spots, and extremely easy to sequence-break. It was easy to get all the weapons before grabbing a single Octolith, if memory serves. I thought it was a shame that the engine wasn't used to make a true-blue Metroid game on the console.

Gandrayda would be a good Character for Smash, because she is a shapeshifter. She would be a Character with Attacks of all other Bounty Hunters. Not every Move needs to be a Special-Move. She could also a Character who represents the Metroid Franchise as a whole. In the Fight with her she could transform in Samus, a Space Pirat, a Federation Soldier, the other 2 Bounty Hunters etc. She could represent a entire Groupe of Metroid Characters. Even if some characters are just good enough for one Move or a Taunt Animation. They would be in.

Kanden- A deranged super soldier hellbent on becoming the best bounty hunter in the galaxy and seeks the Ultimate Power to do so. Spire- A member of the Diamont race that wants to obtain the Ultimate Power so he can find out what happened to the other members of his race or find their resting place if he's truly the last of his kind. Weavel- A Space Pirate general that was fatally wounded after an intense battle with Samus and wants the Ultimate Power to both give to the Space Pirates and settle the score with Samus. Noxus- A righteous Vhozon who wants to keep the Ultimate Power out of the hands of those who wish to do evil with it. Trace- A member of the Kriken Empire who has been chosen to be exiled from his homeworld and seeks the Ultimate Power so he can take over other planets for his people. Sylux: Not much is known about Sylux, but has a strong hatred for the Federation as well as Samus for working for them. Out of all of them, i think Noxus and Spire are the only bounty hunters who aren't inherently evil and both are my favorites-

Weird how the most popular of the Hunters is the one with the least character (at least outwardly) Kanden just wanted to be better at his job. Spire wanted to find his people, or at least answers as to what happened to them. Weavel was following orders, but also wanted revenge. Noxus wanted to maintain peace and order. Trace wanted to prove himself to his people. Sylux wanted...I dunno. To destroy the Federation? Or is this one of those 'my motives are beyond your understanding' things?

Fun fact. Scylix is Likely Human. If you look at his weapon doing the Multi player on Hunters what do you see. A Humanoid hand with 5 fingers. Dose that mean he's an EARTH type human. Prime Hunters was amazing. I found this game in my local Gamestop years ago when i was a Teenager and discovered the Metroid Prime series for myself. I thought hey another Metroid Game, give it a try. I Just jumped back on the Hype train for Metroid and revisited Hunters a few days ago thinking, hey isn't Sylux supposed to have a bigger role in the New games? Yeah today i learned He was in Corruption and Federation Force. (Tho the First one is far more surprising because I think I never got this Secret ending and i don't have Federation Force) With this Video explaining even more about all the Hunters i didn't know, i'm Just getting more hyped because they all are so damn cool. (Noxus is best Hunter and no one can change my mind because I love Ice) Anyway, this Video gets me even more hyped for MP4. Whenever it's finished... Please for the sake of humanity Nintendo, don't make it like Metroid Dread and let us wait 15 years.

Basically: Samus- Good (obviously) Kanden- Neutral Spire- Good Trace- Neutral (mostly bad) Noxus- Good Weavel- Evil (space pirate) Sylux- Evil

I would say Kanden and Trace are Evil category since they want the ultimate power for conquering. Trace wants to take over the Kriken Empireand expand it under his control, Kanden is a loose cannon who destroys things in his path

@@TheOrpheon That's a good point on trace, I always thought Kanden kinda just wants to prove himself as the strongest. But yeah, trace is kinda evil lol, which is probably why Noxus was fighting him.
