I also think it's worth mentioning somewhere that it's usually better to apply dendro 1st and then apply hydro 2nd for gauge theory reasons since it creates more blooms using the same amount of elemental application.

but it doesn't create bountiful cores. in order to create them as fast as possible you need to start with nilou's E (and if you have key you must use it on an enemy), therefore applying hydro first

For more blooms created you need to keep the dendro aura on the ennemis as much as possible, Nilou's skill is always needed in the rotation so it doesn't need to be mentioned. It's not "start the rotation by applying dendro" but "keep the dendro aura as much as possible throught the rotation"

I had Nahida and Kokomi so I went with Nilou this time around. Her team has been absolutely amazing in destroying enemies and her teammates. It's the first time my Kokomi is on death's door 😂😂😂

Since you’re a newer Nilou player you may not know but putting Kokomi on her traditional healing build doesn’t result in much clear time difference than full em. Although being near death is pretty fun imo lol. I have both sets for her and honestly there’s no reason to go full em from the difference I’ve seen

@@nhaan4178 yeah any combination of them should be fine in general, it really just depends on what the player needs. I personally use Hp/hydro/hb even though I don’t have survival problems with full em just cause the clear time is pretty much the same. Good luck with your fopl set, I just went to that domain for wanderer, the fopl set I got lucky with the spiral abyss for a change.

XQ Candace is a really good combo with Bennett Xiangling, Xiangling can vape basically all of her hits and XQ can deal a lot of onfield damage

I pulled her and her weapon on the day she first came out back in October without looking at any reviews because I was smitten by the pretty redhead 😍😍😍😍. I then proceeded to pull C2 on her initial banner as well and haven't regretted a thing since. She's beautiful, powerful as hell, simple to play/build, and fun as fuck!!! I love her. For me she's the best pull on my account (I have C2 Raiden, C2 Nahida, and C1 Hu Tao with Homa for reference).

5:13 4P FoPL is not similar in strength? If you cuddle with the enemies, Nilou should get some Bloom procs. (Kokomi also wears a 4P FoPL) Or is this damage increase additive to the Bloom Boost from Nilou, so that 80% Damage increase is not that significant in comparison to already active the 400% from Nilou?

It’s additive and it’s only to nilou’s bloom and not the whole party. It not giving hp% is also another reason to never use it on her unless you have r5 key

I see many people missed this point, after we did her e, all characters in the team will get buff to change bloom to bountiful bloom even after her circle aura vanished. The buff end isn't determine by her circle aura duration but her hydro buff that looks similar to attack buff around the character.

Should add fopl to the artifacts list, yeah you should add the info that it's not worth it for 90% of players as being able to reach the 74.4k hp cap is priority and avg players don't reach it without 2pc,2pc hp and key etc and the fact nilou doesn't trigger all the blooms so the dmg increase is minimal but it still exists and is still technically bis in the right setup. Also hows the c4 energy regen work exactly ? is it possible to finish the dance and instantly burst to get the energy regen as majority of the time you're going to want to dance to get bountifuls and then burst to create a bunch of them.

i have a question! Would nilou's passive to add EM when being hit by bountiful blooms work with Baizhu's shield when burst? Or does it have to be dealing damage to the character in order to trigger the passive?

Yeah, Yaoyao is both a defensive option AND a good aoe applier, only thing Baizhu adds is the res to interruption (and i guess his buff, but it compensate the fact he does no seeds) Overall Baizhu works, but just as a C0 normally invested Yaoyao

i think kokomi can be replaced with xingqiu or yelan for more damage. Baizhu and kokomi on the same team would just lead to overheals

Sadly she'll never be meta but it's a decent pull if you wanna play with a new team archetype. It's not gonna clear as fast as your meta AoE comps but she still gets the job done. Although the timing of her rerun is really quite unfortunate.

I mean im kinda biased bcs i have nahida but i used to run nilou colie dmc barb and i was rly happy with the dmg now that i have nahida its so much better plus yaoyao is out and it gives more variety for her comps and we prob will be getting more dendro characters frequently and i just feel like shes a rly good character for aoe and even f2p she can be good its just a bit harder :D

that"s not true, Barbara is fine but Kokomi is truly strong, and sacrificial fragments allows you to recast the jellyfish (and has a lot of EM)

And if JellyFish is on the field, you kill the enemies, and another wave spawn in another place, you can just run to the enemies with Barbara, apply Dendro to them, while with Kokomi, you'd just have to wait until your jellyfish refreshes, no?

Build YaoYao as a healer. She won't trigger many Blooms and her healing is required to keep the team alive against Bloom self damage.

@@davezen5100 I’ve built her with Deepwood with a healing bonus circlet right now and her healing is absolutely insane. About 3 seconds and team is fully healed again. I’m just not sure if running 2 sets of Deepwood on a team is efficient.

I think you guys should have waited with this one, not only that Baizhu comes out in a few days already (and Kaveh, who could both work in a Nilou team?) and we know the next patch character is also dendro, and that is pre-hydro region. It is informative but it can be outdated in a week. (And I think you also did not mention the normal attack weaving in the skill animation? Could have just missed it)

i just dont like regular bloom, its not realistic to controll who is gonna trigger the bloom. İf in the future a hyperbloom or burgeon version of nilou(which i was hoping dehya would be) than i would pull that character, but just the regular bloom is not fun gameplay to me

I think two of the cons listed are not really cons. Needing a healer - most groups need a healer. The team does such great damage with a healer it’s still more than pure dps teams. Self damage - I don’t think this is an issue if you have Kokomi or Yaoyao on field.

Not really, there are plenty of teams not needing an healer, but here is mechanically necessary because relevant self-DMG is a byproduct of proper gameplay.

Outside of Nilou bloom there are only two team archetypes that “need” dedicated healer: burgeon teams (for the same “dendro core self damage” reason) and teams that need Bennett for atk boost/battery utility/infusion (because Bennett is a dedicated healer). In every other team it depends on the player - some would want a healer, some can get by without one. As for Kokomi and Yaoyao - because you’d want to build them with EM, for people who usually want a healer one of them unironically could be not enough to compensate for both self-damage and enemy damage
