About Clarence McLin, a few days ago I read the rules of qualifications for the golden globe awards and i discovered a weird rule; it goes like this: "Cameo appearances in which a person plays themselves are not eligible in any category." Since Maclin and a few other actors were credited as portraying themselves does that mean that he wasn't snubbed, but instead outright disqualified?

Like compared to other horror films it literally won a major award at Cannes, has a shot at technical nominations like makeup, sound and cinematography and probably has the most mainstream cultural impact of any Best Picture contender other than Dune. Also I think Demi has been in the top 2 for the Best Actress Oscar win for this entire season and actually has a path to win IMO
