The thing that makes this show and the panel so great is that despite these guys all being legends of their craft, famous, successful, however you want to describe it. They arent overblown with ego and just come across as decent people that you could easily sit down and have a pint and chat with. Excellent show as always!

People call Eddie the silver spoon kid, probably always will. But you can't deny that he's carved his own path, massively expanded what once was a small regional boxing promotion into the new leading international promotion (since showtime have decided to close doors). But he's the perfect face of a promotion, personable, cutt throat, blunt, but not nasty. He has ten times more humility than his peers like Oscar De La Hoya, Bob Arum... Even Dana White has been downright evil and shady! Wonder when he'll manage to get Carra VS Neville signed though 😂

I've went to the same boxing club for over 20 years and it's not by any means modern but there's no phones and the big one is no swearing. Proper old school. Produced a couple of low level pros, but the main thing is community, getting kids discipline and off the street.

Don't agree with everything he says, but I love Eddie. He's right when he says personalities are a dying breed in sport, and he's a personality that breeds life in boxing. Everyone is so desperate to tear people down for having an opinion that everyone doesn't agree with; Eddie knows this but is still willing to put himself out there and I fully respect it.
