actually i dont think so, i think that they are no where near to perfect when you look at the gameplay. when you kill droids they drop just like a clon, they should fall a apart and you could rip them realy off. Just like when you kill hereos, why no executions? I mean the game is already to the age of 16. To be fair Battlefield 2042 is much more profitable and with constant updates, skins etc... will bring in hundreds of millions more than Battlefront 2 with continued support ever could’ve, so having more people working on shit for BF2042 is just logical, a good skin in BF2042 for a simple guy will probably be able to bring in around the same amount of money a Hero Release could’ve or would’ve brought in, in Battlefront 2, so having the Battlefront 2 team work on Battlefield 2042, is just logical, Battlefield always has and always will have a much larger player base, a player base more willing to spend money on the game etc..., people fail to understand that Battlefront 2 had become a great game, sure but not all too profitable

Coruscant, Mustafar are planets that should have been in the game from the very beginning. When they got the big and important planets out of the way, then they should have sprinkled in experimental/fun planets that people can mess around on and have a great time... some examples being like Umbara where everything would be super dark and really hard to see. Perhaps Dathomir where nightsisters would attack you if you start to destroy the planet or something like that... I feel like those could have been awesome maps... but that was a missed chance, and it's too late for redemption.

Still breaks my heart knowing how close we could’ve been to getting Ahsoka Tano. There’s even evidence pointing to her animations being used on reinforcements like the ISB. The ISB’s stance and running animations are very reminiscent of Ahsoka’s movement style. Ahsoka could’ve even be one of the few lightsaber heroes who could’ve used hand to hand melee as we see with the ISB’s attack animations. Not quite as relevant, but the ISB also shares a similar face to Padme albeit with a Scar to give off the illusion it’s not her. Pretty sure the channel who posted this evidence was Mophead, someone who covered much of battlefront 2’s cut content back in the day.

How about Bad Batch skins for all the classic troopers? Crosshair would be a specialist obviously, Hunter and Tech would be along the lines of an assault, Echo would be an ARC trooper maybe, and Wrecker is closest to a Clone Commando. Because Hunter, Tech, and Crosshair would be underpowered like that, I would just make it so their powers and abilities get way better when you put on the skin.

One thing I wanted would’ve definitely been a personal customizable clone trooper for each class. Options with war or simple markings, [like the phrase 1 Coruscant guard looks] numbers, battalion colors or simply just colors, and different visor styles [although I think visor colors goes overboard, gotta stick with the basics.] Overtime, Rex and Cody’s armor had changed and turned into its own iconic thing. Even Thorn was pretty cool looking. So I’ve always wanted to make my own clone in this game. Anyways, shame they stopped it super early. :/ I play it daily because it’s amazing.

After a 6 month break from BF2, that would lead us to October 30th 2020, when the Mandalorian season 2 premiered (even if that episode with Cobb wasn’t good) they should release Mando and Gideon and Nevarro, and they’d add bits of Mando content when the new episodes premiered, adding the light cruiser, new part of Nevarro and Corvus, adding heroes like Ahsoka and the magistrate, and add reinforcements like Mandalorians and dark troopers Then on May 4th add clone wars tv show content, and after that rebels, resistance and bad batch stuff

I remember people used to be excited talking about Ahsoka and Ventress eventually getting added. It was an obvious set-up and we could finally see dual lightsaber users (Grievous doesn’t really count). Not to mention there was a lot of desire for more Clone Wars heroes. A popular pair I saw brought up a lot was adding Mace Windu and Cad Bane. Then from there they could’ve added mandalorian content, maybe some skins for the upcoming Kenobi series.... There was just so much that could’ve been done. It felt so close to feeling like a full game. A couple more maps like Coruscant and Mandalore. A couple more heroes and villains. It felt so close. But the plug got pulled...

As sad as it is they dropped live service a year ago at the verge of greatness, there had been FREE content for 2 YEARS. The game wasn't making any money over that entire period (save for cosmetics) while DICE slaved to salvage the game for EA. From an economic/public image perspective (which governs every decision), the fact this video and all the fan sentiment is a thing means they got the game close to the point where yeah we're all super disappointed, but everyone of us knows we will be buying BF III when it drops in the future, where EA will arguably make up the money spent for 2 years of free content for BF II. Agreed though, they were very close to having the game nearly legendary, which is a damn shame.

I haven't played the new battlefront games. But from what I've seen the maps look way smaller. And you can't just catch a ship from the spawn like you could on PS2. That was one of the best parts even in the smaller maps because like if your doing 2 player co op you could be in the sky shooting down ships while you friend is fuckin up droids on the ground. 5 months later, after EA and Dice going all hands on deck for BF 2042, I played the beta and it was fun but it was also a mess with constant clipping and visual glitches everywhere so I can’t say EA and Dice succeeded in their mission to make a functional flag ship Battlefield game at the expense of BF2 live service…

If EA made real ROS content, not just troopers in jetpacks, we would have gotten Lando, Zorii Bliss, Hux and some other villain as Heroes. The only new map I can think of is for Exogal [sic?] fighting on top of the hull of an Imperial ship.

Biggest issue : BF2 tried hamfisting the sequel trilogy despite a lack of possible content. The prequels literally have dozens of units and variety for both the CIS and Republic.

I was so hyped for Ahsoka and Ventress to possibly get added, we could have had Ahsoka's first outfit as the default, same with Ventress, then we got the rest of their outfits as unlockable, maybe Ahsoka could even have a different fighting style for he first outfit since she only used 1 saber then, while her other outfit would have her duel wield, obviously she's still play the exact same no matter what skin, add in her Rebels skin and she could be an honorary OT hero too, much like how Bosk and Chewie are also used for the Clone Wars.

Them dropping it pissed me off. We know almost for certain that Ahsoka and Ventress were supposed to be the next heroes (I’d guess likely with 332nd Mandalore Clone skins since Siege of Mandalore came out in April-May. Besides that, I’m genuinely surprised we didn’t get Supremacy maps for Utapau, Bespin, Endor, Starkiller Base, Crait, or Exegol, as well as Starfighter Assault maps for Coruscant and Exegol.

I loved the clone wars updates, supremacy etc. But the only thing I really wanted improved was Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault. They were kinda forgotten since supremacy released. Also more maps for vehicle combat, especially for the big stuff

There was a project that was being made to try and make a game using the entire kit that the developers for 2005 Battlefront 2 released. It has plenty of surface to space battles, the graphics was fantastic, the ui was amazing, and it stuck to what made Battlefront great in the first place, only making it better. Haven't heard much from it lately though. Though what made the classic better than the current is that, in the space battles, you could actually take a shuttle full of your friends and invade the enemy ship, destroying key components, taking over their hanger, even using their own weapons against them. And the feeling, as the ship being invaded, of pushing back the invaders and getting your ships and shuttle back out their, lasers and rockets flying across space, it was the best. Sitting in the gunner seat of a shuttle or bomber and flying your way to the enemy ship to fuck shit up, or just flying around, dogfighting. It was the best. EA had all the pieces to make a fantastic game, and while there's a small sliver of what could have been, it's so far off it, they actually took steps _back_ when making it. Truly, it seems that the Star Wars Battlefront game we all wanted is still a distant dream.

Anyone else get a little irritated when people say “BATTLEFRONT TWO HAS HAD SUCH A COMEBACK” like hell no they took everyone off the team and abandoned the game for the most part and really didn’t that much content out it’s crazy how theirs less guns to use in this than their original battlefront like 4 per class no vehicles you can get in with friends like could have had way more maps and characters and the lightsaber combat is just awkward and they pause In-between hits instead of it having a natural flow

I think we could’ve seen Ventress and Ahsoka dropped alongside the Planet Mandalore with also Padme and Gar Saxton who balances out the blaster heroes. Similar to how Anakin, Obi wan, Dooku, and grievous were dropped all at once. Ahsoka’s clone force skins too would have been included and introducing an alternate to droids for villains on Mandalore that being Madalorians to reenact the siege of Mandalore and the alternate for Ventress could be Gar Saxton leading the Mandalore into battle bringing a blaster hero to prequel villains. All of this would be promoting the clone wars season 7 release. I mean they already had maul’s skin from that season too. Another planet we could see would be obviously Coruscant and the hero for that would be Mace Windu and Jango Fett we could maybe see another Geonosis map that being in the arena from ep2. But a new planet was ideal. Another idea was a Nute Gunray and Padme inclusion so they were both politicians and would be released together introducing space to ground combat on coruscant and all maps. Space stations in space from the prequels would be included where Nute Gunray usually is seen (most notably ep 1) and this would bring a lot of possibilities for game modes. Madalorian season 2 Would drop obviously din djarin and maybe bo Katan. Villains would be Moff Gideon and Fennec Shand. I know she helps the Mandalorian at the end but she’s with boba fett and he is a villan in the game. They would release a new skin for Ahsoka and Luke for season 2 for their appearances. The map Nevarro (sand planet) mostly seen in Season 1 would be brought over as well as mention Gideon cruiser since it is promoting season 2 plant Morak (jungle planet undercover mission episode) or Corvus (where Ahsoka is introduced) would be put down on the list of planets. Also Nute Gunray and Padme could fit as new heroes and Villans for Mustafar with their inclusions there in ep3 focused around the duel of the fates.

I think Mando would be a great counter to both boba and bossk. He’d be a tank hero, focusing on attack and defense due to his weapons and armor. His basic weapon would be the IB-94 blaster. Base health would be…let’s say around 800 because of the beskar. He could have 4 ability slots (like Anakin): his LB ability would be his whistling bird, RB would be a weapon switch to his Amban sniper rifle, LB+RB would be a switch to the beskar spear so he can go hand to hand with saber wielders, Giddeon, and use it in general to take out the enemy. LT with his blaster equipped allows Din to fly like Boba, LT with the sniper allows him to zoom, and LT with the spear allows him to block. Oh and mele attack would be the flame thrower, like boba. Some of his Star cards: Cold Bounty- for ever 5 enemies Din defeats with his IB-94, his damage and resistance increase by 5%. This lasts until he is defeated. Strongest defense: Din gains extra health due to his beskar armor. Mandalorian pride: when Din defeats defeats an enemy hero with his beskar spear, he gets an increase of 10% health back for every enemy defeated, in addition to dealing 10% more damage with his spear. This is the Way: upon getting 10 headshots with his blaster in a row, damage with all weapons increases by %15, but Din’s damage resistance decrease by 10% Warrior of the Skies: Din is able to fly with his jetpack for longer periods of time after defeating 10 enemies while in flight This is just a concept I came up with, please let me know your thoughts!!
